We all ate pizzas which were very good. Service was efficient and the waiter helpful. The area does get quite busy with bars nearby and is a draw for younger people. For decent food at a good price this is one of the better large restaurants.

Although our hotel clerk didn't have a recommendation, he suggested picking a restaurant with a small menu - which indicates fresh ingredients. We chose well!We started with the gazpacho - a combo of tomatoes, strawberries and basil and the tomato panna cotta - which was fresh and creative. It was delicious and very fresh. We had an unusual salad - melon, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella which was as pleasing to the eye as the palate and a hamburger which we could not finish. Everything was so delicious - it was truly a fabulous dinner!

We enjoy traveling in France and visit often. Weâre usually treated as ugly Americans and receive poor rude, even hostile service. Vive la France. Avignon was on my bucket list and well worth a visit to the Papal museums. We stopped here for lunch first due to its proximity to the papal museums and the high ratings on trip advisor. The waitress was lovely and attentive. The owners were over the top in terms of satisfying customers in every way. Bravo Paulâs. France needs more persons treating clients properly like you. The food is delicious and fresh. Great salads large enough for 2 to share. This place is a gem. I would eat here regularly if we could.

We spent one night in Avignon and wanted to choose very carefully the restaurant we will dine at. After a long search we decided to choose Pollen, which looked very promising. We were not disappointed. The space is very pleasant and relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful. The chef served few of the dishes himself and the food and wine were absolutely great. We donât eat meat and asked the restaurant if they can accommodate our dietary restrictions. They said it is not a problem. We took the 6 courses menu with a bit of hesitation since we were afraid The chef would prepare us a âcompromiseâ dishes. All the dishes served were perfectly made with 4 different types of fish. We highly recommend the experience.

I ordered steak with Bearnaise sauce. The meat was stringy and the sauce was cold and did not resemble Bearnaise at all. We asked for butter with the bread and they charged a Euro for it! We ate there as so many Trip advisor reviews were good so be warned! Do not eat here, there are so many good restaurants in Avignon!Bonjour, petit cours de cuisine :La bavette est une viande filandreuse, sinon prenez du filet, chez nous câest de la black Angus, la rolls des bavettesLa béarnaise se sert froide, sinon elle redevient liquide, un peu comme la crème brûléeLe beurre en supplément câest normal, ce nâest pas gratuit et en plus, manger avec du beurre .....Alors oui, il y a d'autres restaurants pour vous, allez y.
