Jardin is a nice restaurant in a modern office building in a duty free zone outside Montevideo. Perfect for business lunch. It get busy, service could get a bit slower, but food is great.

Went with my family to this restaurant. The place is well located surrounded by the nice Uruguayan countryside. Ordered a couple of sausages and a provolone cheese. Cheese was delivered fine. Sausages were clearly overcooked and cold. Then we ordered spinach crepes with champignon sauce, Moussaka, lasagna and tenderloin with salad. The tenderloin was ordered WELL, WELL DONE.Ages to have the spinach crepes delivered, and were absolutely cold. Returned to the kitchen and after several minutes were delivered au gratin this time.Ages for the Moussaka and lasagna and the salad was also delivered.When all had finished and I had finished the salad, the tenderloin was delivered. Cold and absolutely RARE. Returned to the kitchen. Delivered a few minutes later. Cold and as RARE as the first time.Ages to have the dishes cleared. Ages to get the menu to order the desserts. Ages to get the desserts, and finally, guess what? Ages to get the bill which I had to request twice!Even paying was a nightmare which we did on our way out and looking for the waiter.2.5 hours for a very sloppy service and way below average food.Certainly will not go back.

Recommended spot overlooking freezone park with quick lunch burger, sandwich or salad menus. While not a huge menu if has some variety and it"s pretty spot to disconnect and enjoy nice view

Excelente lugar , al entrar está el salón de té , el espacio para los niños y los baños(muy bien ambientados y en excelente estado ) , el salón principal muy buena ambientación y hay un espacio para fumadores con mucho verde, la atención es muy buena de parte de los chicos, los platos muy buenos y muy rico el pan. Tienen un escenario donde dependiendo del dÃa ofrecen diferentes espectáculos .

Nice family venue on the beach front of Costa Azul, a small and nice seaside resort some 50km to East of Montevideo. The place is neat, clean and tidy and the food is good. Traditional Uruguayan cuisine, good food for the money. The place is not expensive and the service is very good too.Nothing fancy, highlights being the view, the tidiness of the place, very decent food and cheap.We went with my family on a Sunday for lunch and the place was packed mainly by locals.

We discovered Arazá Resto in a book on beaches, wineries, and estancias in Uruguay. It was one of two listed in El Pinar. We went with friends. There were no other guests when we arrived shortly after the restaurant opened for lunch. It was hot and sunny, but we were comfortable at one of the outside tables that had a large red umbrella for shade. The menus is limited but all items sounded interesting. The chef came out to answer questions before we placed our orders. As we waited, with some breads and dip, we noticed an employee out picking fresh herbs from a small garden plot for our orders. This was definitely a great sign. When the dishes did arrive, all proved to be just excellent. For example, the spaghetti dish with seafood that was my main course was listed as picante. I have come to expect it to not be picante at all when offered in Uruguay. Generally, it is always mild. This dish was both picante and delicious. We had a delightful lunch and we will go again.

Lovely restaurant that offers a variety from all the other places. We came here with a group of friends and felt welcome right away. The service was exceptionally friendly and the menu offered many interesting choices. All six of us were very happy with the food and the wine. A great place!

I've been twice and had some German inspired meals. After eating meat cooked pretty much the same way in every restaurant with out any kind of season, this place was a treat to my palate. Kalbsbratwurst mit Zwiebelnsauce und Rösti, Holzfällersteak and Schweinekotelette âSchwarzwaldâ were my favorites so far and I always finished with Apfelstrudel and coffee. It is a bit off the beaten path (By 800 meters) in an area called "Paradisio Suizo". While they offer small bungalos, I have never stayed there.
