The place is intimate, warm and relax. From the biginning the attention of whole staff is excellent and they make you feel at home but...the incredible happens when you taste the delights. In that moment a blast of incredible flavors occurs. If you go to Auckland you have to mete it

SIDART Restaurant is an award winning fine dining restaurant located in the Three Lamps Plaza, 283 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby, Auckland. We are open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner from 6pm and Friday's for lunch. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Had a truly excellent fine dining meal last night. Very allergy friendly too. Great staff that explained every dish of lovely Indian fusion food that we were eating and its not every restaurant that can casually mention that they've just whipped up a coconut jelly to compliment your snapper crab when the dish contained a soy component. The whole meal tasted excellent and was complimented by seamless service. Loved it.

We are a unique European Japanese fusion fine dining in Auckland.
Lovely atmosphere, attentive service.Food was very very good.Chef's creativity is to be praised. All too often food is"over doctored" and flavours are a rather pedestrian combination of sugar, fat and salt. Not here.Food for the sophisticated palate.Wine selection could improve

A quaint name but with a specialty for steaks. I did not do a count but there must have been more than 20 varieties or ways of making steak with sauces that whet your appetite just on description alone in the menu. I had the highly recommended and popular black pepper steak while my son had the steak Bearnaise. You had a choice of 2 sides with your order. We both had a choice of potatoes (done your style) and a vegetable salad. My son chose the Cheddar Mash and I took the french fries. The steaks were ordered medium rare. It was about 210 grams and our dinner bill was NZD102.00 thereabouts including one coffee and a Brandy Schnapps. Overall it was great steak and just went well with the sides and oh yes we had the ox tail soup which was super laden with meat and tasted super. Great service from our english speaking waitress from Columbia! Here is your chance to test your Spanish and we did. Great night overall! would highly recommend to friends and family.Thank you for your review. We are very pleased you enjoyed your experience with us. We buy the best of NZ produce to present to our customers and have been doing so for 40 yrs..We hope to see you again. Cheers.
