Reviews on Indian food in Pisa, Province of Pisa, Italy. Go ahead and take that photo of yourself with a tilted hand "holding up" the Tower of Pisa. We won't tell; your rep as a sophisticated traveler will remain unblemished. Now that you've gotten that out of the way, climb the tower's 300 steps for a tilted view, or visit the National Museum of San Matteo and the Camposanto cemetery.

We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening - we always try to have an Indian meal wherever we travel. Itâs always worth remembering that the experience will never replicate your favourite Indian restaurant at home. This is a small family run restaurant with a good variety of dishes on the menu including many vegetarian options. The owner seemed a little rushed off his feet and the service was slow.We both ordered lamb dishes which when the arrived were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I think the portions of the meals were on the small side. We also had pilau rice, steamed and nan bread all of which were excellent. The owner was very apologetic about the slow service and at least he acknowledged it. Given the quality of the food I would visit again and think we maybe just caught them on the wrong night from a service point of view.

After paying outrageous prices (for proper meals) or ending up in tourist-traps, I needed something different from Italian fare. This place ticks all the boxes... Good food, cheap, no cover charge and very friendly service. Absolutely loved my Dal, and the mango Lassi was superb. Highly recommend. Great location near the river and just off the main walking street. A must-do if you like authentic Indian food.

I came here with my partner and was not disappointed! On arrival we were immediately offered poppadoms and chutneys and placed our starter orders with a bottle of wine. We order the veg somosas and also a flour and spinach type of bahji. The somosas were amazing and very tasty! For mains I had ordered the black lentil and red bean curry however there must have been a mix up and I ended up with the yellow lentil curry with cumin however it was delicious and didnât think too much about complaining. My. Outgrown do ordered the spinach and paneer curry. They have a whole range or different naan breads too (but no pashwari). The food was amazing and a very high quality. After we asked for the bill, we were offered complimentary schnapps and liquor (a bottle of cardemon and a bottle of coconut). For a bottle of wine, water, 2 starters and 2 mains, basmati rice and naan, it came to â¬41 (!!!) I really enjoyed my meal and would 100% return and recommend to anyone looking for food other than Italian. There is plenty to order if vegan or vegetarian too. Thank you for having us!
