A small restaurant adjascent to the lake. One can really enoy the "kumauion Thali'. very tasty food cooked in local style and one can enjoy meals under the shades of trees amd watching lake.

As you enter the place you are welcome by a magnificent setting of large windows, stone finish walls and above all the warm smile of the staff. All tables have been designed with stones and dried leaves from the area and created by an in-house team.Sitting at any table you have breathtaking views. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes. We had the Pot Roast Chicken, Beetroot and Feta salad, Ginger Chicken, Moussaka, Farm Veggies Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Alfredo Pasta, Bacon ham caramelised onion Himalayan Gouda sandwich...phew...that was a lot of food. Everything was exquisite. The main course was followed by Pancakes which really thrilled us all. All the preparations were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. Some of the ingredients were homegrown too. So, if you are in the area, I highly recommend Cafe In The Woods, a place where flavour inebriates you.Thank you for such a kind review. Absolutely loved the yummy vegetarian food (it is a pure veg restaurant). We ordered sambar-idli-vada and poori bhaji and they were both yumm. The service was quick. The tea was also nice. Must visit if you are looking for a treat to the tummy

There are very few restaurants next to Bhimtal lake tourist spot. The Rituraj restaurant is right in front of taxi stand and offers delicious vegetarian food at affordable rate.This is one of the oldest food joint and it maintains the food quality. The location is also unmatched. However the restaurant can be better maintained.

We were staying in Country Inn which is quite far from this resto and didn't know there is some other country inn (prefixed with some Victoria or something). We ordered food over phone and the owner (young man, forgot his name) accepted the order thinking it to be the latter. Its only when he reached at the wrong address he realised that where we were staying was quite far and its not practical to deliver order there. But hats off to his commitment, he came all the way to this Country Inn in Bhimtal to deliver the food which was more than worth every penny. We really wish that this man and his business grows for his genuine efforts Next day we had our breakfast again at the same place and again it turned out to be equally good.

The magical view, amazing aromas and beautiful setting combined with the deliciously prepared food in the most traditional way possible - is a once in a lifetime experience. So, please make sure to visit this Cafe (only on reservation) when you're in Bhimtal the next time. This is a small restaurant near Hanuman Temple, Naukuchiatal. We ordered dal, paneer dish and roti. The taste of all food stuffs was delicious.

Although still scarcely and simple decorated this restaurant is the only one at this spot, the local market place, it is proudly recommended for its food from the region. Quite a few dishes unknown to us surprised our taste buds. Thank you so much sir. Hope our kumaoni dishes get to be known soon.
