I have eaten here severally as they make a mean chicken tikka. I have always loved the food but hated the service. From getting your orders wrong to unending wait times. The seating is mainly on plastic tables outside and its usually housefull on weekends. You have to try their Chicken Tikka and Naan made fresh in front of your eyes. They also have a cafeteria segment which serves cakes and coffees. Overall you haven't eaten in Kisumu if you haven't eaten at Al-Noor.

Relatively quaint new restaurant in the Mega city mall compound.Has benches in the lawn outside and comfortable seating inside opposite the open plan visible kitchen.Unique and flavorful dishes ,tikka wings and paneer were superb.Brings some much needed style and finesse to the Kisumu dining scene.

We visited the yacht club several times last week as guests of our family and we never got fed up with the views across the lake, the stunning sunsets and the lovely cool breeze. The food was excellent, the butterfish and the chicken saag get special mentions. The ice cold Tusker lager was brilliant and to cap it all, one night there were two hippos grazing in the garden, (I did see them before drinking, honest!).That's something that you will never see in an English pub beer garden!

During the post election period not many establishments were open, here however they are always open and good food appears to be a guarantee. A small group of us sat in the large dining banda. The menu covers Indian, continental and some chinese dishes too.We ordered a smattering of Chinese dishes and relaxed.Being fairly spacious the tables are not jammed up next to each other so conversation is comfortable. The waiters are a friendly bunch and swiftly brought our starters of chicken wings and fish fingers. Our mains followed, good wholesome dishes though the rice dishes were a tad small. Quick service, good food in small town kisumu, one cant go wrong in visiting this place. The mall next door is a few metres away too for tuks tuks and boda bodas.
