Had a coffee and cake this morning after a nice walk. Both were C+, not close to A-. Perfect for blending in, donot expect to be baffled. Make sure to enjoy the terrace, a big, big plus is the close proximity of highway A2, Utrecht and Amsterdam.

Can't complain about the sandwich I ordered, really. The bread was great, and the flavours top notch. The only minor criticisms is that it is a tad expensive, and the presentation isn't amazing. But this hardly bothers me. Would recommend to try at least once.

This nice restaurant with a big cosy terrace is only about 10 minutes cycling if you're staying in Utrecht-Oost. Went here for lunch today with a friend and we really enjoyed our food. I had sourdough bread with smoked salmon, spinach and egg salad and my friend had the club sandwich with fries. Both dishes were impressive. The staff is friendly and attentive and the place looks really nice with both tables and couches. I really love the terrace as well. It's not haute cuisine, but if you're looking for a friendly, informal restaurant with nice, basic food and parking space just outside Utrecht Loft 88 is definitely a good choice.

Had a nice lunch outside, we were gifted with a sunny day! Very nice mango and ginger juice and interesting assortment of sandwiches (try the goat cheese and figs compot if you can and you like!).Unfortunately because of a problem in the kitchen we waited a long time but as soon as they realized about the issue, they apologized and offered another drink. This was kind and appreciated.
