Axminster is a market town and civil parish on the eastern border of the county of Devon in England, some 28 miles (45 km) from the county town of Exeter. The town is built on a hill overlooking the River Axe which heads towards the English Channel at Axmouth, and is in the East Devon local government district. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 5,626, increasing to 5,761 at the 2011 census. The town contains two electoral wards (town and rural) the total sum of both wards being a population of 7,110. The market is still held every Thursday.

Went as a multi generational family to one of their lunches on a Saturday. Wonderful, inventive and inspiring dishes which were presented well with obvious care and consideration for their provenance. Outstanding value for money and am looking forward to a return visit. Only problem we had was finding trill farm but easy once we consulted the website and not satnav- doh!

Super little avian takeaway, good prices, such a lovely lady who served us. Has the Pork Belly Bao and Chicken Satay Bao, with spicy side salad. Fresh coriander sprinkled on top. She is plastic free, so all paper and wooden utensils - will fill water bottles for free. Really cracking little place right by the beach.

We hadn't been in Seaton for a while but found The Terrace Arts Cafe as reliable as ever. My only complaint was that my meal was absolutely enormous! Beautiful chips, lovely salad and dressing. I bet loads of people don't realise it is veggie/vegan either!

Welcoming tea and cake pit stop during our travels around Dorset and Somerset looking for family history. Particular mention to the many gluten free cake options for my coeliac husband. Pisani was close to our accomodation so due to weather ate here twice in a week and had a pizza takeaway. Good takeaway offer of £10 for any pizza as eat in pizzas are pricey . Pasta is linguine and cream features a lot. Felt the menu could be more varied but all the food we had was well cooked and presented. Starter portion of bruschetta very small and over priced whereas portion of whitebait large!
