Find out what Hawaiian restaurants to try in Maui. The Hawaiian island of Maui is a destination for true nature lovers. The ethereal bamboo forest and churning waterfalls in Haleakala National Park can be explored via the Waimoku Falls Trail. Stretch out on warm, golden sands or hit the surf for an unforgettable windsurfing or snorkeling session. Driving the scenic road to Hana along the island’s northeastern shore will be among the most spectacular journeys of your life. Time stands still at the Hawaiian village of Keanae, definitely worth a visit.

Down the Hatch - A Place to Eat Fish has the best seafood around, featuring locally sourced Fresh Fish. We pride ourselves on our Fish n' Chips, Mahi Mahi Tacos, and Ahi dishes.
Took us a week to find this place. AMAZING! Very cool spot. Food was great....fish was a bit over cooked, but still tasted fantastic. Kids LOVED their cheeseburger and calamari. A pretty cool vibe with a relaxed feel. Will do this one again for sure! Canât comment on service as thereâs really none, other than that the people were super friendly and clearly enjoyed their job. Aloha,Thank you so much for the excellent review of our restaurant. We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your dining experience so much! We do have a limited amount of guest interaction, we try to make make those as memorable as possible. Hope to see you again soon. Mahalo

Get here early! While you can order your food to go, it's best eating inside while it's hot and fresh. The wait can easily get over an hour, so don't arrive too hungry. The mac pancakes with mac sauce are super good! They're huge pancakes and very savory so two will be more than enough for most people. This place is a good example of somewhere that is worth the wait.

We brought friends for their first visit to Gazebo for breakfast on our last day in Maui. We arrived at about 6:30 AM, and were able to make the first seating of the day. We think they changed their opening to 7:30 AM since our last visit. The combo pancakes are my favorite and my wife tried a half-order of the fried rice. The fried rice was very good as well, but it's just not a breakfast dish for me. Our friends also tried the fried rice as well as an omelet. Everyone left full and happy with their meals; the extra fried rice went back to the condo for the kids who did not want to wake up early enough to go to breakfast.

Live bands play on the stage as you eat in an open air restaurant. I had the chicken and waffles which were very good along with the hand cut fries. The crab cake burger thing was just ok (probably wouldn't get again). They have infused water for free and open seating. Would definitely come back and enjoy the music again.

Very friendly and prompt service. The mahi mahi was generously-sized and served with brown rice and a nice salad (with feta, nuts, seeds and a light dressing). The lemon and dill sauce was really tasty too. A tasty and very satisfying meal at a friendly establishment. Conveniently there is foil at the front so you can take away and keep your meal warm.

My husband and I went to Cuatros with another couple (BYO Wine for a $10 corking fee).Crab Cakes appetizer super tiny (4) crab cakes to share and steak app kinda tough and bloody that nonetheless could not fill any size person. All of us got the nightly fish special that came with rice and a couple of green beans for the price of $39.99! Granted we brought our own wine, but to pay that much then go home and still be hungry after apps and a meal? We are locals, brah, wha??Suffice to say we will not make a return visit. Sorry.
