We trekked form Nebaj over the mountain to the alpine valley of Acul and stopped at this diary farm that produces the only local hard mature cheese. The Hacienda has cabins to stay in (not seen inside) and now does lunches on their verandah. Good local food, not stellar, but the aspect and atmosphere were fantastic.

I ate here every afternoon during my three day stay in Nebaj. Inviting décor, quiet and calm. The meals were very good and the staff was very friendly. I never felt the need to look any place else to take my meals, as I felt welcomed and at home here.
