It is at the southwestern edge of the Greater London Urban Area and is a part of the London commuter belt, with frequent trains and a journey time of approximately 24 minutes to Waterloo station. Woking is 23 miles (37 km) southwest of Charing Cross in central London. Woking town itself, excluding the surrounding district, has a population of 62,796, with the whole local government district (the borough of Woking) having a population of 99,500 (mid-2011 estimate). Woking has been a Conservative area since the constituency was created in 1950, with Jonathan Lord re-elected as its Member of Parliament in the 2017 General Election.

This was our first visit to '3Rooms' since its opening. The former 'below-average' establishment on this site has been transformed by the new owners & management into an eatery that Ottershaw can be proud of. The former tired decor has been transformed into modern but warm ambience. the restaurant looked very welcoming upon arrival, and gave an excellent first impression. Our visit was on a fairly-busy weekday evening; it was quiet when we arrived but gradually filled up as the evening progressed. The staff were very attentive, friendly and provided faultless service. Even when things were obviously busy in the kitchen, the service remained good. Have been here a few times now. Never had food but plenty to drink. Service great and parking here an added bonus. For allthe negative reviews the pub has free parting but you MUST use the iPads available to enter your registration number. Went in for dinner before a show. Place was completely empty. Reasonable menu. Steak, burgers and chicken. Food was ok and it arrived hot.Cocktails were shocking. No flavour of spirit at all. My pina colada just tasted of pineapple juice. Service was ok, though with nobody else in there it should be.
