Location - just off the autoroute. In a cave setting. Interesting experience Food - simple and good. Starter - pate and escargot Plat - guinea fowl & fish Dessert - chocolate mousse & chocolate caramel tarteMenu 24 ⬠& 18â¬Environment - in a cave setting so very unique and still cold in May! Friendly in house dog.Service - it was great! The madame served us herself and she speaks good English. Overall - value for money definitely.Attached are the photos of the food we ate.

Cuisine et accueil familial. Cuisine d'ici & d'ailleurs avec des produits locaux. Pas de carte mais une ardoise du jour. Congés à partir du 2/11/2019. Réouverture troisième semaine de décembre.

We ate lunch here, having visited the Chateau. Although we had already identified this as a possible venue from previous reviews, we chose to walk around the village to view others and potential menus. Quite simply, this had the best ambiance and, while the menu was simpler than some, it had that welcoming look about it.We chose to eat inside, out of the sun - there were some shaded tables but these were occupied. This apparently husband and wife duo then produced the most enjoyable meal of our weeks stay in The Loire. There were three-way choices for the complete Plat du Jour menu and all the necessary food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Our hostess claimed to only speak limited English but, even if you have no French at all, we are sure that you would manage to understand.Without labouring the point, eat here and you will not be disappointed. Good value for money.

This place is next to the chateau. It has a comfortable inside restaurant and some outside tables under cover. Staff very attentive; good range on the menu from galettes to hearty meals; nicely served.Wheel chair accessible for part of the restaurant and for a good loo.Nice for a trip-day lunch or a treat. Will eat there again.
