The potato was good, thatâs for sure. But I need to say I was a little disappointed with the Currywurst, I missed the sweetness in the sauce and the sausage should be a little more grilled. I hope to see the restaurant improving and maybe Iâd come back someday. Thanks for your feedback. Our sausages are a little different from the average currywurst because we don't use a casing. Therefor it doesn't get so crisp from grilling as you might be use to know.We do hope you will come back and try out other nice products such as our steak our poutine.

The service and quality of meals is hugely improved if you compare them with the breakfast and lunch options. The steaks are beautifully prepared and presented. 2 Unhappy wait staff, not interested in their clients. Took time to order, receive the meal and had to ask for the drinks twice which only came halfway through the meal. ( Not good on a hot sunny day when I was looking forward to a cold beer before the meal )Food quality was poor to average, we took tagesmenu. Second waitress complained they were too busy and some days the service and food was better than others. We got the bad day obviously.

My wife and I had lunch there two times ultimo September 2018. We had the same both times: a couple of beers, a salad, grilled beef with a rim of fat, and a bottle of local red. All very good. Service is pleasant and professional. A minor note: the fries with the meat are a bit too brown for my taste and the thyme (?) oil on the meat is perhaps a bit too much. Not to forget: in this place there are no tourists which is the ultimate pest in Trier.
