Birdy's is our favourite breakfast spot! I love the Eggs Benedict done three ways! We also enjoyed a lovely dinner on our first visit. We sat on the patio our last visit on the long weekend for breakfast. It was quite busy as expected. We were seated inside but asked to move to the patio as the A/C was too cold. We waited over fifteen minutes for coffee and water...not acceptable. We saw that another table that came in after us was served before we were. We waited over a half hour for our food but the toast was another five and came soaking in butter and had to wait again. My husband ordered it dry. The food was very good when we did get it. The waitress did take the coffee off our bill. We will go again but not on a weekend or holiday. We love the menu and will return for a special dinner in the near future.Thank you Sharon M for your four star rating and thoughtful review. I am sorry, the Sunday breakfast long weekend service was not acceptable by our restaurant standards either. Unfortunately on that day a server called in sick at the last minute and additional help did not arrive until 11 am. Please contact Tina at [email protected]. I hope to make it right with you and encourage you not to forgo Birdys on the weekends. We are typically fully staffed and service is excellent.

A very pleasant restaurant in Trenton where we met for lunch with another couple who lived nearby while on our way from Toronto to Ottawa. Overall it was an excellent lunch complemented by excellent and very friendly service.I had the special, which was haddock with hollandaise sauce and roast potatoes and my wife had penne with vegetables and feta cheese. We all had dessert and enjoyed them. Everything was excellent.We will definitely eat here again if driving through or staying in Trenton.

We went to this restaurant last night for dinner just before close. The server greeted us warmly. The food was delicious, hot, tasty, and AMPLE SERVINGS! I had the fettucine alfredo with chicken and mushrooms, my Partner had their chicken and ribs combo. Everything was just delicious, and a good value. Very nice décor, a real pleasant surprise being in Trenton. Much better than the restaurant that it replaced. We will definitely return!
