Rock Creek Tap and Grill Normanview

I had lunch at Rock Creek twice – once on the patio in August and again in September. I found it hot sitting on the patio which faces south and does not provide enough protection from the sun. I enjoyed the meal which was chicken fingers. Service was very good. In September we sat indoors on the restaurant side. I tried a Prime Rib Sandwich ($16.95) which had a lot of sliced meat on ciabatta bread with some crispy thin onions and a tasty sauce. I could choose from three sides – fries, soup, house salad – other items at extra cost. Note there is a Lite Side menu offering a few items. I ordered from the main menu. Once again we had good service and I enjoyed the meal. The modern clean washroom has stalls with high walls and large doors.

My husband and I stopped in there for lunch. We sat at a higher table and ordered a Rueben Sandwich between us. It was very delicious . I would go back again. I do think it might be betterif there were more lower tables available.

We had really bad service, we even tried pushing the service button on the table. Waitress took our drink order and then continued to serve everyone else around us. Done my first pint before we even ordered food. Then we tried stacking all of our empty glasses at the end of the table to get her to notice that we were waiting. Food is not very good and it is overpriced. NOT ONE LOCAL CRAFT BEER! Get with the times. They serve the crap for specials, swill water bud light, coors, canadian. GROSS. So many better local pubs in this city, STOP supporting these horrible chains. They have terrible food and terrible beer selection. Go somewhere where the food is local and homemade and the beer is local!Hello,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your recent experience. Food was great and the price was reasonable however the service was ok. However we had added expenses to our bill that was not part of the menu.....ended up being about an extra 6$ plus tax. Why they don't include it in there menu????We appreciate your review and feedback. I’m very sorry to hear you had an unnecessary charge and would really like to discuss it with you. Please email me at [email protected] so we can follow up and provide a much better time the next time you join us!
