This is a huge restaurant for a pretty small town center with loads of outdoor seating and a good size interior on two floors. This makes it great for family outings and group or club get-togethers.Service is pretty fast although interactions are kept to the minimal.All over this area of Germany you will find many,many,many pizza and salad restaurants with a bar and a few entrees on the menu. Most of these leave off where Manin begins...The pizza here is made fresh with a few different combinations of toppings not pages and pagesand remember; made fresh.Salads here come with a twist; anyone can cut or chop raw veggies and throw them in a bowl but here they are cut and then lightly roasted to add depth of flavor to otherwise common fare. I had a fish salad which featured a nice salmon fillet and I chose the mango dressing which was very refreshing and a lovely departure from the same tired yogurt based dressing so many places serve. The portion was filling but not overly so. My companion had Angus beef and when asked ordered it "medium" and it was served rare, perhaps the only misstep in the meal. Bread is served in a small white draw-string bag in a woven basket with a small plate of olive oil, shaved parmesan and fresh ground black pepper which was a very welcome surprise. ( The bag could be dispensed with as it was a bit annoying to open and I imagine it will be extra labor to keep them spotless.) Along with the usual area beers they also feature a black beer on tap which is very good despite being a bit light on hops and slightly sweet to the taste.Unlike other places, Manin also serves breakfast and turns out decent waffles that are close to what you would find in Belgium if you order them with chocolate sauce, ice cream or fruit and whipped cream.

This steak is so amazing, you will consider retiring in the village just to go here on Fridays. They also have a rack of lamb, and prime rib if you can get it. The other food is really good, too, but who cares about that when you can just eat the best steak you've ever had in your entire life! They grill it on this hand-spun rack over an open fire pit and the service is great.

Neues Ambiente. Der Kellner/Chef verhielt sich neutral. Wir waren mit 4 Personen und davon ein Stammgast. Dort wurde dem Gast eingeschenkt und auch der Spieà entfernt. Das Essen war ohne Mängel und reichlich. Der Espresso und Cappuccino schmeckte wässrig, was auch der Stammgast schon andeutete. Es gab auch eine freundliche Kellnerin, die sehr aufmerksam war.

Der ganze Globus erscheint nun in neuem modernen Look. Der Restaurantbereich ist nun in mehrere " Abteilungen " wie " Burger " , " Pizza" ...und weitere untergliedert. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis wäre gut, wenn in der Küche weniger Fix-Produkte wie zur Saucenherstellung ( ohne Glutamate! ) etc. verwendet werden würden. Mehr frische und bessere Qualität der Speisen und jeder Kunde geht mit einem Lächeln heraus.
