Our family stopped here after doing the Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu and before leaving Aguas Calientes to return to Cusco. The food was DELICIOUS!! Given its casual environment (which was perfect for the quick lunch occasion we were looking for), we did not expect the plating and artistry we received, not to mention the taste of the food. I got chicharrones de pollo de los andes and it came out beautifully and was one of the most delicious dishes I had in all of Peru. My dad got grilled alpaca which came out on a beautiful sizzling hot stone and tasted amazing! We had a wonderful waitress, Flor, who was kind, quick, and made the experience that much better :) Drinks were delicious too (Pisco sours and cusqueña) and we got to sit for another hour after our meal to watch the Champions League final on their TV with many other enthusiastic tourists and Peruanos alike, they didn't make us feel like we had to leave after the meal! Wow, we just stopped here on our way out of town because of there very competitive pricing. However, after biting into my pizza i realized i was getting more than my moneys worth! I dont know what there orange sauce is... but I highly recomend it. This Restaurant serves awesome food has extremly polite staff and is an overall unique experience. We were walking by and this guy approached us to offer a âlunch specialâ, and it really was. For 30 soles, we had entry, main course desert... and a complimentary pisco sour.He had criolla soup, alpaca meat and quinoa pancakes as dessert.Recommended!
