Great family meal! Terrific view from the terrace to the lighthouse at cape Trafalgar. Entrance is very underwhelming from the car park, but don't be put off!We had the sirloin (sollomio) which was wonderful. One of my sons had pork chop which was melt in the mouth!The Red we drank was the best of the holiday and seems only to be a house wine, but rich intense and delicious!!Waiter was helpful and excused my poor Spanish. We enjoyed our evening greatly! The steak place in Zahora!!

We gladly stumbled across this wonderful restaurant with it's delightful terrace overlooking the main square, it was so good we took some more friends there for lunch the following day! The gentleman who served us was so passionate about his food and produce, the Iberico pork fillets and vegetables were simply to die for! And their freshly made pesto was a real treat! I am still dreaming about Iberico pork, cooked to perfection and fantastic value for money. Very much looking forward to going back when we are next in Vejer, I bet this is the perfect spot for dinner too! Thanks for having us :)Thank a lot Striving...

Been yesterday for late dining and its definitely impressive the huge range and quality of their beef steaks! Difficult to find something similar. NOTICE: if you are not familiar with beef meat better to ask staff for recommendation as tastes of beef are different and many different beefs there, also it depends of maturated time and years (not better or worst, im talking about its taste). We came by recommendation as it is really lost in the middle of a non remarkable area but worth the hassle to find it! prices not cheap but matching or even below food quality. Its not a matter of elaboration if you know what i mean, its a matter of impressive range quality beef meat. Huge range of wines. We been 5, eating the best steaks and drinking, payed 280 euros, so not bad really for the quality. Staff and service very correct. I have been told its difficult to book there and gets really busy, so make sense to book before drive far, but you will not regret. To be recommended 101%. We will be back!

We moved to the area a couple of years ago, and this venta (along with Venta Luis) is one of our local bars. Very pleasant atmosphere, good food, and the owner (Miguel) is a great guy. Well worth the visit if you are in the La Brena area.

We recently visited Pizzeria Occio and had a great experience talking and drinking wine with the owner Francesco. We had bruschetta and pizza and both were delicious! The owner is directly from Italy and all ingredients used in the menu are imported from Italy. The Pizza is thin crust and cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with glasses of Italian Limoncello....We plan on returning to Barbate next year and we will definitely return to Occio...Salute!
