I have now been twice to the Mussler Weingut and it really does not disappoint. Wine-tasting room furnished with huge round wooden tables - they leave you the wine to taste together with a very civilized bottle of water. The garden is in the middle of immaculately kept rolling vineyards with a corridor of cypress trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is good, simple and fresh and the wine is excellent especially St Laurent, Weissburgunder and Riesling Mandelpfad. Will certainly go again.

Tatsächlich einer der besten Läden in Grünstadt mittlerweile, wenn man mal ungezwungen mit der Familie essen will. Abwechslungsreiche Karte, freundliche Bedienungen, schneller Service, moderate Preise, gutes Essen, angenehmes Ambiente. Ãberrascht waren wir von der wirklich sehr guten Whiskey-Auswahl, da kommt manche GroÃstadtbar nicht mit. AuÃerdem sind immer gute Aktionen am Start. Wir gehen mittlerweile auch mal hin, wenn kein Film kommt, der uns interessiert, weils echt ein empfehlenswerter Laden ist. Auch das Wochenendfrühstück bis 12.30 ist echt gut, zumal man in Grünstadt echt kaum irgendwo frühstücken kann. Gut, daà unser Ort endlich so einen Laden hat.

Decided to visit here since the Café Solo next door was too packed and too noisy. This turned out to be a great decision. A beautiful, relaxing place with lovely shade to sit and enjoy some good food and wine. An added bonus was the live music - a local group who played soft music added to the ambience. Will definitely return.

Wer einmal hier war, kommt sicher wieder ! ...Und bringt am besten gute Freunde mit, um das AuÃergewöhnliche gemeinsam zu erleben und zu genieÃen. In urgemütlich toller Atmosphäre und einem ganz besonderem Ambiente. Das Lokal ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, und präsentiert sich mit dem Hauptraum im Oberen, der Kaminstube im Unteren, und dem begrünten Biergarten im Hof. Leckere Gerichte und Getränke sorgen hier für wahre Gaumenfreuden. Und für gröÃere Gesellschaften und Feiern steht das überdachte "Festgelände mit Sandsteinbar" zur Verfügung, auf dem es sich (in den wärmeren Monaten) zünftig feiern lässt. Es empfiehlt sich, auf jeden Fall zu reservieren, da das *Bistro 12* in der Regel nur an jedem 1. und 3. Freitag und Samstag im Monat ab 19 Uhr geöffnet hat !Tel.: 06351-125 90 09

We stopped at this place on the offchance and found it to be very chic, friendly owners who go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable - its aactually 2 restaurants in one, one a Tappas which they call Happas and the other a very upmarket restaurant. We chose the Happas as the other was full - the food was well presented but rather overpriced in our opinion - charging Euro 4 for a normal feldtsalad is a rip-off in my book - service, decor and presentation was exceptional !

This restaurant I cannot more highly recommend this restaurant. The owners are incredibly friendly and have become our go to spot for wonderful food. Their veal liver with onions is the only beef liver I will touch and 10 year old loves it even. Their rump steak is the best around, as is most of the their greek dishes, in particular their lamb chops...simply the best. The food is outstanding, but it is the service that is even better, if that is possible. They do speak English which makes it nice if your German is not the strongest. Reservations are a must.
