Based on the reviews here we went to the restaurant, but as expected it was fully booked and we made a reservation for next day.We got a very warm welcome by the host and he really tried to make us feel at home.The menu is sufficient and we didn't need to wait very long for the food to be served.The only remark we could make is about the desert menu.Due to the size of the restaurant, there is only one type of desert per day.For kids it would be nice to have at least some ice cream available.Overall a great experience, mainly because of the way we were treated.

Been as part of a group and all i can say it is one of the best places to eat in a group, great atmosphere, fantastic food, awesome beer and extremely reasonable on cost, sweets i would say are a little under par but after such a fantastic main i really didnt care.

We were a party of three on a Saturday lunch during off-season. Having ha good food and service here a year before, we entered the restaurant a bit after 13:30. Well that might have been our 'mistake'. Service was extremely slow, even so only five other tables were initially seated with guests.The antipasti order took forever (highlight were the slightly warmed Olives, with very good taste, the Zaziki was a bit thin - however the Feta baked in alufoil tasted like a tofu variante ... The main orders of gyros (garlic sauce on one, the other with a 'pinkante Sosse' were disappointing as well - the sauce drenched the overdone meat (very chewy) and the souvlaki was also way too tough - but was fitting the nice looking but hard as porcelain fries (pommes frites). Now the portion size was okay, even so we felt a bit smaller than the year before ... All in all we were this time quite disappointed. Maybe the cook had already left the shop and someone was helping out?
