It is a friendly place. We ate sardines and mousaka, which is a local Greek cuisine. White vine was served in a half liter carafe.

We had a good diner there... The view is beautiful, the food was good...that's it. Communicate with the 'old Greeks' is sometimes dificult.. they don't understand what you want exactly... so you have to point it on the menu... The apetizers was good ! the chicken on the grill was a bit 'dry' The mossaka was good and juicy... Probably one of the best restaurants on the 'promenade' in Eretria

Most of the times we order the same dishes, because we know they are too good. Ceasar salad is a must buy (if lettuce is available) and the same applies for tiganopsomo. Pork and chicken souvlaki are great. Highly recommended.

The island of Evia is very popular with Athenians who don't mind driving out of the capital to get some really good food and fresh air.The small village of Gymno in Evia is well off the beaten track, but the food in this restaurant is really terrific. It is a psitopoleo, or grill shop, literally (no vegetarians here) where the meat is fresh, top quality and grilled. The kitchen is completely visible, so the whole process can actually be seen.Pork kebabs, doner (or Yiro), chicken, biftekia, all sorts of grilled meat.If you want to try something completely different, this is the place!

fresh fish, nice service , right in front of the water.We enjoyed our meal, and the wine was ourstanding. Our hotel porto evia is located within 2 minutes from the restaurant, and also there are other bars to follow a drink or a coffee after our meal. We recommend it.

We have been visiting this place the last three years when travelling from athens to the south of evoia.We are always enjoying its fresh fish-most of the times-quick service and fair wine.Prices are a bit high, but acceptable.Overall a place to spend a chill and quality lunch or dinner!
