The food was great! We enjoyed our time in the restaurant and the servers weâre friendly and patient with the kids. Our only tip is to purchase a ATM. Itâs only possible to pay with cash, but this isnât too big of a problem. Will certainly return! Vielen Dank für die Bewertung

A nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. On Saturdays itâs very busy. The food is like you can expect in a place like the Alm. Itâs honest, more than enough and reasonably priced. Donât expect anything special. The place is big and therefore very noisy and a feel of âcrowdedâ. You want candlelight dinning, donât go to the Alm. When itâs quiet in the town of Winterberg people tend to go to the Alm because they donât like empty restaurants despite the fact that these other restaurant are better. The Alm is the hang-out of Winterberg. Yes I would go back.

The interior is what you would call an 'authentic' German décor: a bit old, a bit corny, and a bit dark.The trout was OK, the accompanying salad and potatoes were just there as sides without adding any joy to the dinner. Service by the old lady was basic. The bill including beer came to less than 20 EUR.Just that.

We just went in the restaurant and got a table. The traditional German food was good quality and for 5 persons including drinks and desserts we paid less than 90â¬. The service was perfect multi language (at least French, German, Dutch and English). Very kind and also known by the locals. That's always a good sign.

As in general the food offer for skiers is very limited and unvaried - Panorama is a good choice for lunch. Decent flamkuchen, shnitzels and burgers, and as it is a bit off track (not directly on the slope, but 20m of) - much less crowded than other places in the ski area

First: you need to reserve a table or to be there early (17:30) to get a table. Once you have a place then you can enjoy very delicious and traditional food with modern touch. We ordered "Reibekuchen" with cream and bacon, another which chicken and mushroom souce. A Mediterranean burger, steak (perfect backed) and chicken nuggets for the little one finish the list. Everything was perfect.

The restaurant itself is rather basic but do not be fooled. The food and drinks that are served here are close to excellent. We had the Wiener Schnitzel (under 10 euro) and a fantastic quality. The Sauerbraten was perfect as well. Beer at 1.40 euro per glass..... Need I say more. For 4 persons including drinks we paid 75 euro's. This a place that is approx 5 km's outside of Winterberg but it is worth it.

If you want something other than a wurst or schnitzel this is a very good option. Bit more contemporary but in a lovely old style Sauerland building. Great wine selection which much to our surprise is a hard find in Winterberg. The mostly got everything down, but the vegetarian option, that was a bit plain.

On a beautiful location there is this nice restaurant overlooking the hills. The staff was very nice and the curry wurst was delicious. The interior was also very nice and cozy and unlike many other restaurants in the area it was also very hygienic.
