I am a big guy who can eat a lot and frankly, I am tired of Chinese Jiangsu flavors. So to get authentic meat, or something as simple as flavors of proper mustard or sauerkraut, I go to this place. Portions are good. Meat is authentic quality. Hence, I always go here for 2-3 basic things, burgers, sausages and beers. One thing I do not like is their pizza and the service does take long. Given it is foreign owner the food is good, but when the Chinese manage it, especially when the owner is not around then it becomes a little slow and you get that typical Chinese service. Weird decor even for China. Very expensive and did not taste grate. Service is poor, my food was done but the waiters where too busy to give it to me. They have one pizza they put raw eggs on top off. Go to Dosa or down by the other foreigner restaurants.Ordered chicken wings still had some feather bits on them but tasted good.

Jack's Home is a more sports bar style place with international cuisine. Food was well prepared and tasty and they have a good selection of beverages (beer ;-) Staff is nice and friendly, some are fluent in English, menue is also in English/Chinese. Folks at that place is a mixture of locals and foreigners. I liked it very much!

The restaurant is located at the riverside restaurant area. Very nice location for dinner and having a walk after dinner.The staff of the restaurant is very friendly, helpful and nice. The food is very delicious German style prepared by a German cook who is coming from the Beijing headquarter. He teach the personnel how to prepare German food. Whatever you order from the menu, all is very delicious but also not cheap, which is actually normal for restaurants in this class.All in all a recommendation for people who love German food.
