Es gibt hier eine tolle Buttermilch. Wenn sie an einem heissen Sommertag hier vorbeiwandern geniessen sie auf der Terrasse den Blick, an schönen Tagen bis in die Alpen auf der anderen Seite. Die Familie die das kleine Lokal vermutlich schon seit Generationen betreibt tut das mit Hingabe und Engagement. Das Essen ist sicher keine Gourmetangelegenheit, das erwartet aber auch niemand. Im Winter knistern die Holzscheite im Ofen in der Gaststube und wärmen den Gast.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist MittelmaÃ. Nicht wirklich sensationell. Schnitzel war etwas trocken. Pommes innen leicht matschig. Das Aldersbacher Bier ist der einzige Lichtblick.

There is a nice trail branching off from a logging road in the forest above the Angerhof, which affords a beautiful, free view of the valley of the Danube in the distance and takes you right to the Buglhof. This newly renovated hotel is known for its solid cuisine and excellent cake selection--I have no idea how attractive its wellness part would be.

I've now eaten at this small Bavarian restaurant twice, and both times the food was excellent.In addition, the staff were very friendly.it will help if you can speak some German, as the menu has no English.It is very traditionally decorated, and feels warm and cosy.Highly recommended.

A very nice place. The road itself is perfect there, the forest road as it is, it does not matter who likes to hike. I think the negatives of the house to a small receiver in summer but can be compensated for with a little terrace.

Vom Parkplatz Prediktstuhl ist es ein kurzweiliger Spaziergang durch den Wald bis zum Berggasthof Hinterwies. Mit vielerlei Speisen und Getränken wird einem der Aufenthalt schmackhaft gemacht. Besonders bei Schnee und Sonne habt ihr hier viel SpaÃ.

Wir wollten nach 2 Stunden Autofahrt den Kindern ein wenig Zeit zum spielen gönnen. Da kam der "Erlebnishof" ganz recht. Ein paar Ziegen, Hühner und Hasen gab es zu sehen. Das war's schon, aber der (ich vermute: gemeindliche) Spielplatz ist wirklich toll und groÃ. AuÃerdem gibt es einen Badesee ums Eck, der wirklich auyh nett aussah.Aber wieder zum Restaurant. Zu viert für Getränke und nicht üppiges Essen (Pommes, Kässpätzle und Sulz mit Bratkartoffeln) 30 Euro ist nicht billig, aber war ok. Das Essen war gut, ohne besonders zu sein. Für Familien zur Aktivierung nach einer Autofahrt oder als Essen nach dem Baden prima, aber keinen Umweg wert. Auch das "Erlebnis" fehlte leider

Am Samstag Abend war das Lokal nicht voll besetzt. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend - das Essen war oke, wobei das Rehragout nicht zum weiterempfehlen geeignet ist. Das Fleisch war sehr zäh. Preis/Leistung ist stimmig .

We were recommended this restaurant by the owners of the place we are staying in, and so we decided to give it a go. Reservations are recommended, especially as you can only really get there by car, and it would be a long way to go from most places on the off chance. But the online reservation system worked fine and was very simple. The food was really good quality, fresh and tasty. We had a starter of ravioli with oxtail and herbs, which was both unusual and excellent. Then one of us had pike and the other spinach risotto. Both, as with the ravioli, were cooked perfectly, flavoured just right, and a good quantity, and beautifully presented. It's a long time since we've had such good food, and the service was pleasant and the atmosphere good, so if you are anywhere near, we'd recommend it highly. They have a website, so you can check out the menu before hand. The choice is not huge, so it's worth making sure they'd have something you'd like, but if they do, you will like it a lot!
