We are visiting Germany for our first time, yesterday we arrived to the hotel around 6 pm, and found out that it has a restaurant. We were starving and asked the staf for a table for 4. We are traveling with a baby and a 6 year old. They welcomed us âºï¸ brought coloring placemats for the children, the service was excellent and the food even more and the hotel is very clean and comfi so we decided to stay for one more day to visit the area and to have another excellent meal

We were staying in town on holiday and my wife found this place to eat. We had eaten in various locations about town previously. This is tucked into a lovely square in town and the interior is beautifully decorated in quite a surprisingly modern style in contrast to the older exteriors. The service was attentive and good. The meal itself was superb with good portions. Both our meals were delicious.

Wenn ich auf Reisen bin, hole ich mir oft Rat über Tripadvisor und begrüÃe es sehr, wenn hilfreiche Kommentare verzeichnet sind. Selbst Kommentare über Restaurants abzugeben habe ich jedoch zu meiner Schande bisher gemieden. Nachdem ich jedoch aus Neugierde die Lokalitäten in meiner Umgebung einmal durchsehen wollte um diese mit meinen eigenen Erfahrungen zu vergleichen, bin ich über die letzten Kommentare bei Sepp´s Stadelalm gestoÃen. Hier urteilt ein âGrill-Profiâ über Qualität und Preis und kann es nicht fassen, dass ein anderer Nutzer anderer Meinung ist. Ich bin weder verwandt noch verschwägert mit dem Wirt oder der Wirtin. Trotzdem möchte ich eine Lanze für Sepp´s Stadelalm brechen. Als Einheimischer fühle ich mich hierzu verpflichtet und kann jedem Gast der ins schöne Nesselwang kommt nur empfehlen hier einmal vorbeizusehen. Seit dem ersten Tag der Eröffnung gehe ich immer wieder gerne hier zum Essen und bin bisher auch noch nie enttäuscht worden.Ãber Geschmack lässt sich nicht streiten â hier scheiden sich schon die Geister. Ãber unprofessionelle Bewertungen allerdings schon! Lese ich den Kommentar zuvor über die Preise der Steaks, dass 2 von 4 Kinder diese für nicht gerechtfertigt halten, frage ich mich ob das eine Zahnbürstenwerbung ist und 2 von 4 Zahnärzten die Zahnbürste nicht empfehlen. Ein selbsternannter âGrill-Profiâ der Entschuldigungen nur in Form von Sachleistungen annimmt und nicht fähig ist SalatsoÃe nachzubestellen. Wenn Sie öfter in Sepp´s Stadelalm gewesen sind, haben Sie mit Sicherheit auch schon gesehen, dass die genannten âFertig-Röstzwiebelâ beim Zwiebelrostbraten aus frischen Zwiebeln in der Friteuse gemacht werden â es kommt oft vor, dass ich beim Skifahren allein durch diesen Geruch der um die Hütte kreist, automatisch im Anschluss dort einkehren muss.Ich lade hiermit die 2 der 4 Kinder, die den Preis für gerechtfertigt fanden, am Essen scheinbar nichts auszusetzen hatten und die âselbstgemachten-fertig-Röstzwiebelâ nicht gestört haben, rechtherzlich ein mit mir das nächste Mal ein leckeres Steak nach Wahl zu essen. Gerne kalkuliere ich als Leihe auch kurz die Kosten vor, die ein Wirt in seine Produkte einrechnen muss. Ich hoffe ich kann in Zukunft solche Kommentare erkennen, wenn ich mich auf diese verlassen muss. Dass nicht immer alles glatt läuft ist mir auch klar, die Entschuldigungen als Ausreden zu verurteilen und bei einem Gegenkommentar ebenfalls in Entschuldigungen zu verfallen gibt der Glaubwürdigkeit auch ein âgewisses Gschmäckleâ.Und die ÃuÃerungen über die Fragwürdigkeit der Gäste die hier kommentieren â âleider ein schlechter Versuch eines âGrill-Profisâ sich herauszureden, da hilft nicht mal z.B. ein Kaffee als Wiedergutmachung.Fazit:Gutes Essen, glauben Sie mir!

Some very good friends of ours took us and two other couples we were traveling with to Kronenhutte. The food and entertainment was spectacular. We will definitely return the next time we get to Bavaria.

The food spread was traditional Bavarian with a variety of smoked meets, sausages and pastries. There were also the meats, cheeses, cakes, champaign, bier, soups, and a list too long to remember. That morning was a buffet so I cannot completely rate the service and kitchen staff. But the host and busing of our tables was prompt and courteous. And that says much considering we were part of a 20+ person american contingent with some members that were "high maintenance" (read rude). The food is so good I wanted to stay and eat more but my belly was going to burst.This is a great place for meal whether your a couple or a large group looking for a private room. By the way, there is a little trail out back that wonders up the slope to the Explorer Hotel. It is scenic and secluded with little treasures. I cant judge the value as someone else picked up our meal.

Enroute from the Zurich airport to Oberammergau, Germany, my wife and I by chance stopped at the Gasthof Baren in Nesselwang (Bavaria) for lunch. What great fortune. We were personally greeted by the owner who gave us a terrific history lesson regarding the building and business as he was particularly proud that Baren had served many American officers and servicemen during WWII.Our meal was simply outstanding. I had a most delicious pork dish. My wife is a vegetarian and the owner insisted on having the chef prepare a colorful dish of vegetables and potatoes. The local beer was more a treat than a beverage. It indeed was a stroke of luck that we stopped in and enjoyed one of the best meals that we have ever had in Germany. The food/drink was beyond reproach as was the service and friendliness of the owner and staff.We highly recommend this restaurant and will likely go there again when in the area.

Nach einer gastronomischen Enttäuschung in der näheren Umgebung waren wir angenehm überrascht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf der eher angenehm kleinen Speisekarte fand sich rasch etwas mit fränkischem Einschlag. Das Essen war dann auch geschmacklich und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir würden wieder dort essen gehen.
