After a lacklustre visit to Kunsthaus Zug, we really needed a morale boost. We found it at the Rathauskeller. Fresh, very local fish from the Zugersee and old classics are services with competence and care. One can't go wrong here. Strong wine list too, with Swiss bottles, some of which are quite rare and very interesting.

I was there for a Christmas lunch... All was amazing.. I felt like I was in Italy... The menu was : antipasto all'italiana, pasta with porcini and shrimps, scaloppine al balsamico and tiramisù. The food was delicious and the service perfect. I recommend it!!

This is an excellent, very busy schnitzel house with a good array of cordon bleu. My selection was filled with ham and rachlete cheese - cooked to perfection. My colleague had a delightful steak on a hot stone. The place seemed popular with both locals and expats. Without a doubt, the best meal I had over 3 nights in Zug.
