Please see the reviews under the name Matsumoto Marunouchi Hotel.This is the restaurant in the smae building. We ate breakfast here, buffett style. Some western selections but plenty of miso, fish, and Natto to satisfy eastern palates.The locals still know this name, and there are often flags out front with this name on it, but I feel they have adopted the new name for travelers for the Hotel.

This place had nice pizza and the best fried chicken I have ever had. It comes with lemon and katsu curry sauce on the side. Highly recommend this place.

The staff is friendly and helpfull. No english menu but the staff speak immaculate american english. The food were great and reasonable price.

Le Kotori offers fine Japanese food in a French style. Fine dining for a reasonable price. Surprisingly we found the restaurant empty but luckily we stayed and enjoyed the excellent food. For those who do not (only) want to eat seaweed and raw fish.

We arrived late to Matsumoto and went looking for dinner. We stumbled upon this place and were happy we did. The atmosphere of Bavarian Inn was cosy. The various sausages with cold beer went down nicely and were very good. Other members of our group enjoyed there meals also. We all had a great evening and went to the hotel happy. Nice change from traditional Japanese food.
