Landed this remote area trying to choose a place to dine on this rainy day...choose ignea over another one...no regrets..First time ever had a hot(warm) cocktail and went well on this rainy nite..The food was super..the apple walnut salad was awesome so also the mash potato that we ordered as accompaniment with the grilled food.The place even though open was not damp and has a unique way of serving the grill..I think every table has a centre opening where they set a lit coal grill into the slot and you then place your served skewers...for a few minutes before eating.Was quite unique, having been to quite many restaurants I had not seen such a set up...may be close to BBQ nation.Anyway throughly njoid the food even though the beef pieces were paper thin...could improve on this...looked too little on the skewer The deserts were awesome too ..white and brown chocolate fudge as was called ....very rich...order just enough....Hello Sparkie09, Thank you for the amazing rating. we are delighted to know that you loved the ambiance and food at Ignia. Rogers stands out to be one of the best place on benaulim beach , which serves amazing tasty food , reasonably priced & most important quality friendly servers unlike johncy ( which has bunch of arrogant staff ). Come here any relax with chilled beers in hand with good ocean view. They serve sheesha as well. Try their cripy chicken which is very tasty so ended up ordering two plates.

visited this restaurant on 01/10/2019,faced a long wait for my food after placing the order,but was very impressed with the personalized touch of the team.They made up for the long delay with complimentary scoops of delicious ice cream,the food was a bit oily for my liking but still would like to visit again on my next trip.

The prices have gone up quite significantly this year, and it tended to be quiet each time we visited. However, don't be put off as the staff are excellent, really friendly and attentive. They make one of the best veg biryani in south Goa too. Lovely place to spend the day.
