Been before, but it just keeps getting better. My partner had wild boar, fantastic. I had pork and it was the best meal I have had this time in the area. Melt in your mouth. My daughter (fussy eater) pizza - delicious. Starters mini hamburgers, to die for. Fantastic service, great wine and great price. Superb

Stumbled across this place by accident, but will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly (and patient with my rusty Spanish). They had no problem providing vegan options, a vegetable fajita which was out of this world tasty. The chef informed us they source all veg from the local vendors, something that was apparent from the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend a visit. Great food and such lovely staff.

We booked a table for dinner based on other reviews. We agree with the recommendations. Beautiful setting (if you book you are more likely to get a table on the terrace), and friendly staff.I'd advise staff recommendations on food choice. Away from the bustling tourist area. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the innovative dishes. Who would have thought you could transform a bland aubergine with a curry cheese and honey sauce,brilliant! We left the choice to Miguel 5 excellent courses the duck was exceptional. A very good bottle of albariño to compliment. Not cheap but well worth it.

Katana is a very small outlet with 9 Bar chairs which is located within the Central Market in Alicante. Run by three young people, they produce excellent Sushi, Tuna Tataki, a very creative beef tartare, Vietnamese dishes, and other. Three people with a bottle of Ribeiro â¬109.00 plus tip. Very nice. What a disgrace that they donât speak proper English at all. We thought we booked a table but when we arrived there was no table. The real sad, un-Michelin type element was they offered no solution, no solace, no service gesture whatsoever. I get it when a reservation goes bad, and it happens sometimes. But they even got mad at us after we suggested they improved their English a bit in order to prevent such mistakes. The food might be great (they say) but their empathy levels are shockingly low. If they wouldâve just offered us a drink and ordered us a cab we wouldâve felt fine but they treated us quite bad. Your reservation was booked for January 12 2019, the reservation was attended by the chef in person who speaks perfectly English. Today you have called to say that you were late, and I do not understand very much English, so I asked please to wait a moment to attend them better in English, since you do not speak either Spanish or French. You passed me the call to a friend of yours who speaks Spanish and confirmed me that you were Mr. Holtonn.When the real Mr. Holtonn shows up at the restaurant, I called you up to three occasions with no answer. Once you were in the restaurant, we were just looking at how to fix it, I asked you to wait, that in less than an hour we would set a table for you to attend tonight, not the one you had reserved for January 12.As they did not want to wait for me to solve the problem of misunderstanding of the reservation, we could not do anything for you to have dinner here today.From number 29 to 12, there is a lot of difference in any language, this Saturday 29 was complete, even with reservations waiting for about ten days, which was very unlikely that you could run the reserve for today 29. We called for the taxi indeed.We deeply regret this misunderstanding.El Xato

Visited in February with friends so when I came to Benidorm again with my mum and sister I knew I had to come back to Amigos. I emailed to mention my mum couldnât manage the stairs and received an email straight back to say a table downstairs would be waiting for us. We had starters of fish cakes and mushrooms, both dishes were fantastic. Then mains of fillet steak, lamb and prawns. Meals were all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The waitress that looked after us was friendly and made time to have a little chat with us. Well done again Amigos and I hope your bar opposite does as well as the restaurant, you deserve it.

I'm going to keep this short, because there is a plethora of glowing reviews about this amazing five table restaurant. That it compares with or exceeds the culinary experiences we've had at many famous destination dining spots is simply stunning when you consider that it's entire staff consists of the husband and wife team of Olivia and Fernando. The dining experience was exceptional, every dish was memorable. This restaurant is for those who adore great food. Just two tips. Make reservations and order their foie gras -- it will take you to gastronomic heaven.
