très bon accueil, bonne carte et plat du jour très bon et bien servi. Les frites sont réellement maison et excellentes.Les jeunes patrons sont très sympathiques et a l'écoute du client !!! une pépite !J'y retournerai a mes prochaines vacances d'autant qu'il est juste au dessus du camping !Merci encore...

Au sein du joli hameau de Pierre Grosse, dans une belle bâtisse montagnarde, nous voilà très bien accueillis par le patron et « le jeune »,comme il lâappelle :-) dans une jolie salle typique avec un gros feu de cheminée. Nous prenons un menu à 24⬠et un menu à 27â¬. La salade de chèvre chaud avec un fromage local excellentissime, le sauté dâagneau excellent également et la truite aux myrtilles redonne du peps et de lâoriginalité à un plat généralement classique. Les desserts sont très bons,notamment le soufflé glacé au génépi maison. Bref, une adresse à ne pas manquer si vous passez par là ....

Avons découvert le lieu pour apprécier un citron chaud après une longue marche dans la neige.Sommes revenus pour le dîner et avons goûter la fondue aux cèpes.Sommes retournés et avons savourer un excellent potage Parmentier et une salade costebelle.Une maison qui ne pousse pas à la surconsommation et attentive à sa clientèle.Seule remarque peu ce variante dans la carte, mais ce nâest pas grave puisque câest bon.

Ate here while staying in St Veran. Great food, especially the meat cooked over an open fire in the restaurant. The lamb steak was fantastic! Great tarte tatin and chocolate fondant too.

Allez-y les yeux fermés !!!! (surtout réservez) dans une jolie salle très beau décor montagnard, vous serez très bien accueillis par un bon apéritif offert accompagné de charcuterie de montagne,le repas est très copieux et très bon !! que de bons produits du terroir !!!nous vous conseillons vivement cet endroit pour un agréable moment dans un endroit très chaleureux et authentique.

J'ai apprécié l'excellente omelette du refuge de la Blanche au bord du Lac et entouré de hautes montagnes. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent, le service et l'accueil sont irréprochables. Un dépaysement magique, à 3 h de marche de Saint Véran. à refaire

We ate here every evening as it is ideally situated right next to L'Alta Peyra. The decor is beautiful rustic country style and it is spotlessly clean with a lovely fireplace. The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Every plate comes with a lovely salad and jambon. The ingredients are fresh and good quality. Every meal I had was absolutely delicious. They also have a very reasonably priced childrens menu. They also bring you delicious complimentary snacks while you wait for your meal.Every evening they gave my daughter a little present as well.

I feel bad for all the 5-star reviews I've given...because I need another star for this place. We were in Saint-Véran for 3 nights...and we ended up eating here every night! ...as we left the first night, the chef picked out the fish he was going to cook for us the next night...and the 3rd night we have the best risotto of of lives (with shaved white truffle...I'm not making this up!!)....we felt like royalty. The man that runs the place (and also serves the tables) was a professional...it was amazing to watch him work. He is only with the restaurant for the season, then back to his home in Provence. Matt and Sandy wish him the best....Shalom!

We loved this. Cozy, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated to be both chic and comfortable, fab music, roaring fire, simple menu excellently executed. Focal point is galettes and crepes and cider but itâs very upmarket for a galetterie! Such lovely people who run it. Their little daughter came wandering through the restaurant in her dressing gown at one point. Very cute. All in all one of my favourite dining experiences. Simple, comfortable and delicious, with a very welcoming feeling. Canât wait to visit again!
