For more adventure, dive Pressure Point’s tectonic plate fault lines or Punta Colarada’s volcanic overhangs, ledges, and lava rock swimthroughs. If you are lucky you will see lobsters, stingrays, moray and snowflake eels, barracudas, yellow tangs, parrotfish, and puffers.

I was living in La Punta, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca and i can say that if you visit this place you need to go for a meel in Restaurant Hotel San Martin Zicatela. All the plates are delicious, home made and fresh. I recomend the vegetarian hamburguer and the desserts that are made by Corine, excellent flavor. The cocktels made by Patrick are delicious and fresh. Best price, service and food in La Punta. I'll come back!

The homemade cheescakes are the best in town by miles, great coffee, good atmosphere, lovely people. They also have a breakfast menu that is almost as good as the cakes; homemade ciabattas with a rich pesto, chicken and bacon or veggie, both super-tasty.

We had a quiet dinner (inside is our preference). Lino is one of the best professional waiters you will ever encounter. He always gets our order right and is charming and calm even tho he serves every table in the place. And, year to year, remembers so many of our names.We both had pork dishes. One with a Provençal tomato sauce and the other with cream mushroom sauce. Hard to choose the best. The very sweet Fou chocolate dessert a must for chocoholics. Creme brûlée is also good.Paris is a Puerto treasure with french style recipes. Yum.

We stayed at Frutas y Verduras for a week so ate here lots! Every breakfast and quite a few lunches. The portions are big and the food is very good - simple and wholesome and so cheap! Not so much for vegans but great for veggies. The best coffee by far that we had all over Mexico and possibly back home in England! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu is in english which is great for non Spanish speaking!
