This rather small French village of Lacroix Falgarde is indeed blessed to have two such restaurants ,one at each end of the village.Once again in a perfect location, the restaurant offers a wide choice of foods and drinks, served by knowledgeable staff in a very welcoming dining area. The available dishes are more in line with conventional French cooking but that does not detract from the quality of food provided and the availability of a decent selection of wines to accompany the food.Once again a welcoming establishment which provides good value for money in all areas.

We had not booked a table and were lucky to be early for lunch. when we left, the restaurant was packed. I wouls recommend booking.Daughter (9) and I had the 17⬠menu, with me taking tempura fried vegetables, the daily grill and tea gourmand (6⬠supplement). Daighter had egg cocotte with mushrooms and cappa sausage, lamb noisette with couscous and mixed vegetables, finishing off with a pain perdu. The other half took a foi gras plateau (and ate half of my steak as I was unable to finish the generous piece) and coffee gourmand. Son (6) had the childrsn' menu with a steak hache with French fries and for dessert ice cream. Son ordered "vanilla ice cream with decoration". Which he got. All food was excellent. The tempura fried vegetables made me consider buying a deep frier to be able to cook the same at home. The home made fries were fantastic and judging from the speed that my son devoured his steak, it was ecxellent as well. Verdict from daughter : "When can we come back?"Some few remarks on the food, though. I am always disappointed when a children's menu does not contain vegetables. Give kids a chance to learn to eat vegetables, please. Also the pain perdu was a bit on the heavy side, caused by a very compact bread.The staff was was very nice and gave excellent service, even the waitress who was on her first day. Son even got to flirt with one of them....We did have to remind them about the bottle of water and one of the glasses of wine never appeared (we opted against reminding about this).The restaurant decoration was calm and tasteful, the chairs were comfortable and the ladies/men's room was clean and tastefully deorated.This restaurant will not disappoint you.

C'est toujours un plaisir de manger chez julie ! N'importe quel met est préparé avec amour et on se régale à chaque bouchée ! Sandwich, pannini, quiche, croque monsieur, gâteaux, dessert sont parfaitement maîtrisé avec un goût exquis ! Je vous recommande cette boutique ! Julie vous accueille avec le sourire et à toujours un petit mot sympathique ! Ce midi je suis reparti avec une part de gâteau chocolat noisette... Gratos ! Merci julie !!!! Foncez y avant 13h30 elle est vite dévalisée !!!

The stars of this restaurant are not the dishes, but clearly the waiters. Although the food was reasonably good, it was the excellent service I liked best. Discreet, attentive, well spoken. Our waiter was fluent in three languages, but used them without being annoying.

Quel moment sublime nous avons passé pour nos 1 an de mariage.Tout y est été parfait du début à la fin.Le menu que nous avons dégusté y était d'une finesse incroyable. Les chasseurs d'étoiles de Toulouse feraient une erreur de ne pas y aller, les mets servis et le travail réalisé mériteraient ces étoiles.Allez y sans hésiter.Merci à toute l'équipe du gentiane pour ce sublime moment.

The restaurant is inside the Roques shopping mall, but donât let that stop you coming. The lunch menu is quite extensive with special meals offered every day. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with some English being spoken.The restaurant is extremely popular and there is a queue formed before 12:45 every day with people waiting for the first set of diners to leave.

Acceuil correct, salle et cadre plutôt jolis. Mais attention, pas de climatisation dans la salle côté rue, derrière les vitres en plein soleil.Les plats sont appétissants, la viande très bonne mais les légumes, pas assez cuits, à l'eau, sans saveurs ni assaisonnement. La salle etait très bruyante, avec des enfants qui courent et crient à longueur de repas. Je ne pense pas qu'on y retournera. Rapport qualité prix plutôt élevé par rapport à ce qu'on a eu dans l'assiette.
