From all aspects, O Grill has evidently worked hard to improve since it was relaunched from Chez Sandro. We spent a really enjoyable Saturday evening here. The new layout has an expanded area for outdoor high table seating, new parasols, a large wood fired grill and a revised menu that features both local and imported grilled meats. There was good background music from a live entertainer and the staff seemed to be hustling to serve all the tables. Compared to Chez Sandro, the food was much better - my beef filet needed a little longer on the grill and this was handled without any fuss. My wife enjoyed the grilled vegetables with a fish filet. Should now be considered as one of the best in LT.

My husband and I stopped here to share a bottle of wine and have some appetizers late one evening. The place caught our eye because of the beautiful atmosphere with candles on the tables, and a super clean kitchen. It’s like a gourmet restaurant right on the beach, but the prices are great. We had shrimp scampi and shared some flaming pineapple in rum for dessert. Highly recommend it! Great service too! Everything was in French but one of the owners spoke Spanish well, and probably a little English too. You won’t be disappointed!

The place was a culinary destination in the DR. Now is just average French restaurant. The service is ok. They have this tall waiters in pony tails walking around socializing a little too much and not taking care of the paying customers. Prices are high for the quality of the service and food. Location is excellent! I have visited several times and my family truly enjoys the hotel and the food. The chef his name was Gérard? if I remember correctly is a kind a very attentive professional. I did not see him in my three visits for dinner and drinks.

This restaurant is located beside the pool at the Alegio Hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens. The menu is great, food is tasty, service is good and desserts are some of the best in town...so why only 3/5? We were here three times and each meal was consistently good, but on the second meal 2 of our 6 family members spent the night very sick. We finally worked up the courage to go back for dessert and coffee a few nights later. We asked for decaf coffee and lying in bed awake at 3 am realized it was NOT decaf. Take your chances...great desserts and your meal will be tasty!

Nice location, across from the beach in an traditional building. Well built but poorly decorated and without much charm and logic. The service is pleasant and efficient and the food local with French touches. The food is nice, but nothing special. I am continuously surprised to receive, in a country with so many varied spices and food stuff, such "nothing special" food!

Not sure why this restaurant has so many good reviews, this was certainly our poorest dining experience in Las Terrenas. The food was expensive and tasteless and the specialty cocktails tasted like someone had poured leftover drinks from the end of a night into a glass. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the bartender was friendly so I hate to leave a bad review, but honestly, this restaurant simply isn't worth visiting. Please can you tell me wich day was , this is was on friday 26 ?? And sorry about that , if you come back we will make a better work for sure Message from the bartender

We’d passed by this restaurant a couple of times, then checked out the reviews on trip advisor, there were a couple that said if you speak English don’t bother going, this very nearly put us off going, so glad we did. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, the waitresses spoke great English although I did try my bad Spanish on them, food was fantastic we both had the local filet mignon wa amazing, Frederico the host came over and introduced himself asked how our meal was and even gave us complimentary digestifs, sorry I forgot to mention the onion rings and mozzarella sticks that arrived at the table shortly after we arrived. Will def return before we leave and thoroughly recommend giving at a try, our best meal so far in Las Terrenas
