Despite having made a reservation for the restaurant we were given a table on the terrace - poor relation to the restaurant at which all bar two tables had smokers on them. The service was very slow - we were there for over 3 hours The choice of wines to accompany the dishes was not successful in all cases with one of the wines being cloudyOverall not the experience expected or hoped for Bonjour Karen,How sad for us to read your comment on tripadvisor this morning!I welcomed you last night and accompanied you to your table. if we have given you this table, it is because it is, for us and for our customers, one of the prettiest on our terrace of the fig tree.As you may have seen on arrival, the upper room was not full unlike the terrace down, and it would have been very easy to find you a nice table upstairs if you had made the request...Youâve arrived at 20h and left at 22h45, which is not more than 3 hours as you say in your comment ... this service time is normal for a menu such as the one you took. Anyway we are sorry that our services have not been to your expectations, and sorry that you have waited to be behind your screen to tell us, when we met several times yesterday evening and so we could have discussed it together...

We were looking for a place for a light, not too expensive lunch. La Voile provided us just that. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the Maitre de who apologised for not having tables but we could sit at the bar which surrounded the restaurant. As it turned out he gave us the best seats n the house, well, outside actually. We had sweeping views across the port and out to sea across the Mediterranean. Absolutely the BEST! And the food, the choice was excellent, the quality was fantastic, fresh and very enjoyable, washed down with a Rose. What more could be said. Go, try it.

Super tapas they serve with delicious wine. The place is a tapas bar + wine bar and if you come in the evening, it's possible that people are also with the glass of wine outside on the streeth.

we were looking for a place for lunch and saw the set menu here. 2 courses or 3 courses. not much choice but what we had was excellent. Lovely fish fillet of the day with mushroom sauce and steak with echalottes and delicious potatoes. All washed down with a nice pichet of rose wine.we didn't eat here in the evening but they had a set menu then also which looked very good.

Stunning resto connected to a stunning hotel in a stunning location. That's okay then!Staff deserve a special mention. Superbly attentive & skilled. Never intrusive or overbearing. As good as you'll find anywhere.The food: This is the 2nd time we've had dinner here. Did the taster menu 1st time. This time we ate what we chose. And the choice didn't satisfy. Meagre menu with few options. Nouvelle cuisine style. The best thing, in my opinion, was one of the amuse bouche. Foie gras mousse with cherry - delivered not ordered. 4 entrees & 4 plats wouldn't be too difficult. Would it? Currently just 2 of each. Which is far too limiting for a gaff of this standard.The massive wine list & prices seem to suggest one has a rather nice gin palace at anchor in the bay. This is not Monaco.Still a fabulous experience yet it could be better. It's a restaurant. So getting the food right is the most important thing.

Ate dinner here on our last night in Colliore and we weren't disappointed. This is primarily a shellfish restaurant, but they also have a selection of tapas. We ordered mussels (outstanding) and a selection of tapas with a really nice bottle of wine. The food was very good indeed and the service is excellent. Highly recommended

Another split opinion between my wife and myself. I decided to be bold and "go local"., so I had an anchovy starter which was unusual but tasty, then the St.Jacques(scallops) which were well cooked and delicious. This was followed by the "delice fraicheur" which included sesame seed icecream - it was great! The very friendly waitress recommended a delicious local wine, so I found the meal really good. Unfortunately my wife's sea bream fillet had bones in it and a sauce not to her liking. Still, on this occasion I give it full marks

This is by far one of the top restaurants in Collioure.If you would like a chef that knows his/her flavours, and memorable meal this is for you.The waiter spoke excellent English to explain all about the dishes and service was really good.The food came out the flavours combinations were lovely and the food cooked with great care.The menu is limited, we prefer this but if may not be for all.Hopefully you will enjoy as much as we did.
