We had the best and healthy food we had in the last two weeks!! All homemade and delicious. The chef is really friendly and we felt at home immediatly. The menu de jour was perfect with the hot weather, the chef really made an effort to cool us down. It opens up a bit more early than the rest of the restaurants, so even more perfect when you like having a early diner. I would love this place in my hometown!Merci beaucoup Belle journée à vous

We have been coming to this place on the eve of the 24hr race for the past 4 years. This will probably be our last after this visit. In the previous years there has been a band playing and the atmosphere was a great start to the weekend. In the last 3 years the standard of the food has fallen. The band no longer play, and the food is now poor - omelette was rubbery and the steak very tough to chew. No surprise then that this place remained half empty whenever we passed it, whereas so many of the others in Arnage were very busy.

Agréablement surprise par ce petit restau guinguettes en face dâun lac et dâune plage artificielle fort sympathique , venant de paris pour se reposer quelques jours... il est vrai que dâavoir passer une fin d après midi et soirée dans ce restaurant guinguettes ma donner une pêche été la positive attitude. We popped in for lunch with friends, it was a warm afternoon and delighted to find the terrace at the rear of the restaurant. There is a good selection of dishes on their menu. Rotisserie chicken, steak, pork and selection of fish. We all opted for the 2 dish 15.90⬠menu. Service was great and very relaxed. We will definitely be returning,

We stayed with a group of friends whilst we visited Classic Le Mans car meeting. There is ample secure parking. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The outdoor seating area is very good. The food is very good and they coped with our group of 52 friends. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

I wouldnât normally expect too much from a âburger and fritesâ restaurant in Arnage, especially during the Le Mans 24 Hour weekend, when the area is mostly full of Brits who have had too much to drink. We arrived quite late on the Saturday evening, when most of the other restaurants were shutting down, but a very helpful waiter showed us to a table and took our order. My wife is a strict vegetarian, and there was nothing on the menu that she could eat, but they agreed to make her an omelette, which she said was delicious (high praise indeed). I opted for a blue cheese burger and it was as good a burger as Iâve had in a long time â and a million miles away from what you would get in a fast food restaurant in the UK. We enjoyed the meal so much that we returned the following evening, and it was equally as good,

Twice now in recent months we have stopped here for a weekday lunchtime meal. There is the choice of a la carte or menu du jour. you are seated in different areas depending which you choose. Both times we've gone for menu du jour - known as " the workers menu" offered by many restaurants in the area. Starters is a salad buffet to which you help yourself, lots of choices including cold meat, pate/ rillettes, prawns, hard boiled eggs and lots of different salads or salad items. Main course is generally a choice of steak of some sort, a fish dish and pork. Followed by cheese and then a dessert and coffee if you want it. It comes with a small pichet of wine included in the price but coffee is extra. The main courses are well cooked but not over fussy and chips or noodles or another carb side dish are offered. 27 euros for two people for a very substantial midday meal is very good value. Can't comment on a la carte although it seems to be popular with local business men - with visitors to entertain!The internal ( main) door to the restaurant ( from the bar) is quite narrow- would be a problem for a wheelchair user, but there may be another entrance I didn't see.It is also a small hotel.

This place is situated very near the bus stop so it has become my meeting point once I arrive from Le Mans on bus. Several of us always have a few cold beers and maybe a fish and chips. Food is good and beer is cold and the service is with a smile. On Mad Friday this place become very crowded but its a great spot to watch the zaniness that engulfs Arnage during Le Mans 24.

I went for lunch with some friends just before the Le Mans 24. I had the house dish of langoustine ravioli and then chicken in a white sauce. They were both off the chart good ! The service was perfect, very good wines and without the usual long wait one has at smart restaurants.I defy anyone not to enjoy this restaurant.I can't comment on price because I didn't see the bill.
