We had a very good meal here, we were first in at lunch so were quickly seated & although you have to wait whilst the fish is cooked fresh (this applies to all the fish served ) it means they taste better. Chips were also very good as was the mushy peas, all at a reasonable price.

Park road fish bar was established 1945 the WW2. Also won the best fish and chips reward in Kent 1994 and our aim is to keep it the best fish and chip in Kent as much as we can. This is our promise to our loyal customer.

I was on a weekend break with my daughter and we decided that we wanted to do the ole traditional eat fish and chips on the beach. We were told about this place and decided that if the local people recommend it then its good. Once we were there, there was a big queue of people, some had already had their orders taken, others waiting. I was a bit hesistant about the wait, but then if people are willing to wait then thats a sign of good service and quality. In the end we waited approx 15 mins. There was a constant flow of customers. The service as you can expect in a busy place, was quick, hello, can i take your order etc, but it was done friendly enough for the pressure they must have been under. \We got our order and again the sevice was friendly enough, asking if we wanted salt and vinegar. We took our food and took the short walk to the beach and enjoyed our fish and chips, under the caqreful eyes of the seagulls. Park Lane Fish Bar is a place to go if you want a take away, just be prepared to wait,. but it is worth it

Ordered for the first time on a Thursday evening. The order was large enough for free delivery and it turned up on time and still very hot.Lovely food. The sweet & sour chicken in better was particularly nice.

Sorry but this was the worst chinese meal I have ever had. I had a pancake roll and it was just packed full of beansprouts. I think I managed to find 1 small shrimp and a miniscule piece of pork which wasn't even as big as my finger nail. It was tasteless. Also ordered special fried rice which looked and tasted of just boiled rice and again the pork bits were hard to find and again not as big as my fingernail, a couple of shrimps. No veg or beef nor chicken which you would normally get and they advertise as having in the ingredients and again was so bland. Would never visit again and would rather travel further for a good meal next time I am in the area than eat from here again.

On route to family get together yesterday and popped into this restaurant ? We were so looking forward to a naughty treat as fast food tastes so good but so bad. Firstly we had a long wait while my wife's order was replaced, she wanted a chicken wrap and was served a chicken burrito , not a good start especially as we saw the said burrito go back up onto the shelf for sale again.My chicken mighty bucket ? for one seemed a little on the light side, with two very small pieces of chicken served to me in a bag and I said we were eating in , no plate! No sauce , no salt, ...the chicken was dripping in oil , not crispy ...We wont be eating here again that's for sure.
