We have been several times at "Mm Leckerbar" and had Soup (carrot+chilli+peanut), fresh bread with chickpea mush (hummus), Pasta with Sweet Tomato, Fladimir (pitta breadk) with filling (free choice vegie or with meet/fish), homemade Limonade (lemon or mint) and different salads. All food is fantastic fresh and tasty. Super friendly staff. SelfService is maintained with technolgy I know from the US: little alarm devices you get with order placement, which start blinking/buzzing once your meal is ready to get picked.conclusion: fantastic quality of food - nice location (close to main train station Freiburg) - very friendly staff - great service model.

By the tons of "Dönerbuden" (small Turkish fast food restaurants) you find on German streets I'd say that another one wouldn't need mentioning. But this one is different as well in quality as in choices on their menu. Besides the common Turkish standards, like Döner Kebap, Lahmacun or Falafel, they offer the vegan equivalent. Even vegan "meat" made of seitan and tofu, and vegan cheese for your pizza. This commitment was already rewarded with a badge of recommendation by the German vegetarian association (Vegetarierbund Deutschland). That alone would justify mentioning. But luckily the quality of the vegan and vegetarian alternatives is also amazing. Check out the "Lahmacun Spezial" which is a vegan Lahmacun plus the vegan Döner meat.A tiny setback to my praise could be the above-average prices. But this is compensated by pretty nice seating options which are not that common in Turkish fast food restaurants and the extremely friendly staff.

Food was good, in particular meat (friend to cooking point you wish) and patty were of high quality.The Ketchup on the tables is of noticeably lower quality, it does not match the other ingredients.The weakest point is service: Cash-only is not acceptable in the year 2017 if you are for two people on average around EUR 30.-. Also charging 1EUR for packing for takeaway is not appropriate at this price structure. There are 4 tables, none of them more than 4 m from the counter - and they ask you to return plates yourself while they stand around with 3 people watching you. I worked in service for many years, that's a no-go.In conclusion: Good food, mediocre service - gives "average". A shame, the food has potential.

"Man shall not live by bread alone..." You can't eat just one of these humongous sausages - and please don't call them hot dogs - no comparison. They have several varieties, all as delicious as the other. I can always eat two - and come back later for more. The rolls too are delicious. Crusty and made of unbleached white flour. So tasty. They're topped with fried onions and you help yourself to as much delicious German mustard as you want. Go on... you must... !

Read reviews and locals had said we should try it. Frankly it is not great. Compared to burgers I've had in Ireland recently this doesn't even come close. Burger was bland. Meat was not great in my opinion. Fries were poor. Frozen chips refried it seems. V greasy. Look, maybe we hit it on a bad day but it just did not hit the spot for me.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and were very delighted.....it is a definite hidden gem!The staff was friendly and helpful as we were not very familiar with this type of cuisine (Turkish I think)....but it looked and smelled so good that we decided to give it a try.We ordered 2 chicken donairs to go (there are also a few tables/wall-mounted tables inside if you prefer to eat in) which we thoroughly enjoyed when we got back to our B&B.We highly recommend this place!
