Our son (12) went here with a friend and didnât stop talking about it for a week. So we went. We live far from this part of Budapest and parking is hard to find around here, so we parked across the bridge and walked. Totally worth it! Our 5 kids (ages4-14) all loved it and so did we. Place is small and not amazingly clean. But the food is great. Lots of different burgers to pick from. Fries were really good. We all liked the Garlic dip sauce the best. We will be coming back when we can.

It was around midnight.At the end of karavan alley we noticed Las Vegans.My wife said maybe and glad we did. The creamy garlic completed the onions and mushrooms very nicely.The bun was moist and delicious as well. We also go the berry smoothie which was surprisingly not very sweet and all natural fruits. Very reasonable however.The ambiance was like eating in a food court with lotsa drunk kids around some smoking but the food was delicious

I followed the reviews of Trip Advisor and selected this place. It was way off the tourist path, but I found it. To say it is small is an understatement. You must understand there is NO PLACE TO SIT. There are two shelves along the walls that serve as places to eat. There is also no place to sit outside. Highly recommend you do not bring a family or group here.The service was friendly. The guy asked if I was hungry so he recommended the double meat burger. It was one of the biggest burgers I've ever seen. But it did NOT FIT in the bun, so you could not eat it by hand. And since there are no tables to sit, and hence no tableware to eat with.... The burger was indeed amazing; however, everything else about this place is just too uninviting. My recommendation is buyer beware.

Iâm a bit disappointed I have to write this, but Smokey Monkies is definitely not the same restaurant I enjoyed a year ago. No longer good and fresh.This was a nice concept, but it someone in the management decided to make a 360 degree turn.1) Despite the fact there are (3) people upfront only one actually makes the sandwiches so during the lunch rush you thereâs a huge bottleneck. One person handles extras such as jalapeños, sides, etc and the last person is the cashier. All in all, itâs a similar style to Subway without any of the efficiency. The saddest part of this is they still havenât learned to improve this system from the beginning. The cashier has no idea what the person ordered when itâs time to pay and they need to have a small conversation with the person who prepared it every single time...2) Pulled pork was dry and tasteless this trip. Iâm guessing it wasnât prepared fresh earlier in the day since some pieces were rock hard. 3) Any sandwich with this much meat or toppings should be in a banquette or at least a harder bread - the bread it as flimsy as paper so everything falls out and you need to eat it with a fork and knife.4) Mac & Cheese is absolutely disgusting and is MICROWAVED. Even a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese (you mix water and cheddar powder) is more tasty than what they served. I understand not the everything can be prepared fresh, but that was horrible and it tasted like water. Completely tasteless and bland.Unfortunately, the Smokey Monkies I knew and recommended two years ago to others is no longer the same. Itâs really disappointing they went complex downhill.P.S - You used to get cheddar cheese on both sides of the bread, now itâs only one. Amazing noodles, totally customisable - the special sauce is so good! Big array of vegetables to choose from, meats and you can choose from a few types of noodles and rice. Highly reccomend. We then ate it by the Danube. Good price - about £2.5-5 for a box depending on what you choose.

We arrived at this lovely restaurant freezing cold after an evening cruise on the River Danube. We received a warm welcome and a great service. We ordered a Mexican burger and Spaghetti portion. A fantastic meal and had the most amazing hot chocolate drink, so good! Highly recommend a visit.
