The cassoulet is quite tasty, as was the pea soup, yum; but the crepe of the day (spinach with cheese) was bitter, and the ratatouille left a lot to be desired, and was the most disappointing dish of all. You really have to search to find this place, located on the second floor, fairly near the centro; you can walk right past it if not really on the lookout. We came at a dead hour, yet the testy owner still tried to seat us where he would prefer.

Everytime we are in this stupendous city, full of history of so many artists in the past,including a visit years ago by Maria Callas, we never miss enjoying the natural, elegant atmosphere of this Bistro. The food is part of the treat, as it is guided in its diversity by the taste of its french owner. The waiters are always ready to help and very friendly and at the time respectful with the clientele. Each dish is fresh with the best ingredients. Don´t miss the soups of the season, cold and hot; the salads and main dishes; the desserts, such as "crème blûlée", and the "italian cappuccino". The cost is minimal in comparison to any other place in the city. TRY IT, YOU WON´T REGRET IT!We apreciate your very kind comments which encourage us to serve our customers day after day. This was once a great option in Cuernavaca. What we found on this occasion was a pushy untidy Owner / Cheff wearing a dirty T Shirt.Food was not good and made my wife sick. We won't be returning.

Stopped in for a drink and a cheese & meat plate before dinner during a weekend in Cuernavaca. The atmosphere is great - very laid back and cool. There was plenty of seating with tables and couches inside and out.

This small 4 table Italian place is a must in cuernavaca.The place is a spin off from a chef from anticavilla and they make their own pasta.Everything is traditional and home made.There's always a line so be patient.

This restaurant is located in the neighborhood of Cuernavaca's cathedral (presently closed for post-earthquake repairs) and the Robert Brady Museum. It's one of a relatively few places where you can have a fine dining experience in the evening, as most Mexicans eat their main meal in the early afternoon. Our party was delighted with the wide variety of offerings which include pastas, pizzas and entrees. The Marco Polo pizza was shared by two of us, and had all the major food groups except chocolate. Spinch lasagne was proclaimed excellent the the medallions of beef ala gorgonzola was another great choice. We did try a piece of chocolate cake for dessert, and found it a little dry. There is a good international selection of wines, some at quite moderate prices. This is a place where you can have a wonderful meal without breaking the bank.

We were with a small group on a day trip from Mexico City and both major attractions in Cuernavaca were closed (the Cathedral for repairs and the Palace where Hernan Cortez lived was closed for for who knows why). So what we had left to do after the long trip from DF was lunch and shopping. We chose The House at the Las Casas B & B for lunch and it was fabulous. We were seated outdoors near the swimming pool. We were the only gringos; all the other patrons were Mexican Nationals dressed for business and that's always a good sign for the quality of the food, which proved to be true. Service was excellent and they had a great cocktail menu and a fine wine list.
