We attended this local French themed restaurant, without great expectations however as soon as we entered and were greeted by the very friendly staff, we knew we were going to enjoy a really good dining experience. And we were not disappointed !!From the very efficient and professional floor staff to the those staff in the kitchen, it all ran without any fuss. The interior of the dining area was very agreeable and made you relax and enjoy the ambiance. The menu was not an extensive one however it was varied and it would suit most diners.Well prepared and presented, each course was absolutely delicious. The meat dishes were cooked to perfection and the fish dish was outstanding. The desserts were as good as the rest of the dishes on the menu and and they too were outstanding.Even the little touches, like the complimentary tasting appetizers at the start and finish of the meals were unexpected but much appreciated. The servings for each course were generous and fresh local produce ensured a high standard of meals arriving at the table. The wine list was appealing with local and international choices available and at reasonable costs.Overall a very, very good dining experience and one which ensures we will go back for a second experience. Highly recommended.Wow - what a way to start our day. Thank you so much for the very kind words - this is what my team and I strive for every day. Found this little gem on our visit to the area tonight. Great authentic pasta and fantastic pizza. Very simple wine list. The Italian waitress is a such a sparkler in the environment- happy , cheerful and really adds to the authentic Italian food! Good fun and not expensive.

Who would have thought, A french Bistro in traditional Italian area of Sydney.We had been meaning to try this Bistro for quite some time and finally got there.Menu is full of classics. We opened with the onion soup and steak tartare both dishes ticked the box. For mains we had Beef Bourguignon and the Duck Cassoulet. The beef was as expected as was the Duck, however the duck was a bit skimpy on the beans, chorizo and gravy. $9 for a side of veggies was not value for money.Deserts were great and the 3 cheeses we had were ripe and well presented.Service staff were knowledgeable. Hubby and I went here for dinner on Saturday night, we didn't have a table booked but the maitre d' enticed us in out of the cold and got us a table straight away, although the restaurant was almost full. We had salt & pepper calamari for an entree and garlic prawns for a main, a wine and beer. Service was excellent, the food was great and the price was exceptional. Our 18 year old son had recommended Neptunes and we were impressed and will definitely be back. :)

Very nice dinner at the buffet with good selection of indian and traditional cuisine, salads, pastas, sweets, fruit and fruit juices, then great selection of options for breakfast, all nicely prepared and well presented. Staff are very attentative and helpful, making this a great place for brekky and dinner.

Light & Modern French Fine Dining, yet with BYO.Could be described as Modern Australian with French influences or Lighter French Cuisine. Quality rather than quantity; starting from the initial bread with lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce, progressing to the ceviche king fish entre & twice cooked pork belly with well balanced accompanying sauce and salad.My partners scallop entre and duck main were also very good.The restaurant has a lovely relaxed décor, with tables not too close together allowing easy conversation without having to raise ones voice. The wine prices are very reasonable, but if you have a favourite bottle of red at home take it with you as will only cost you $10 corkage.Only minor whinges are that steamed vegetables were string beans only and that waiters were slightly on the under attentive side.
