We were on our way from Milan to Liguria area and decided to stop in Vercelli for this place only since we read great review here on TA. Their website said its open until 15:00. We arrived around 14:00 and were disappointed that the place was already close. We asked the staff if there is anything else open in the area for lunch and they said no. as we were about to leave, disappointed and hungry, but then the chef agreed to open the place just for us!! This was a very nice act (in general, Italians are very nice)We had the whole restaurant to ourselves (group of 5) and the food was just amazing!!!We were treated with a fish starter that was very tasty. Each of us had a risotto dish that was divine!!! Cocked perfectly and the presentation of the dishesâ¦. I canât even find the word to describe itWe even got a petite-four for dessert.Bottom line â it was the best risotto I ever ate and in general, the restaurant was one of the best we visited during our 10 day trip in Italy.

We arrived on our way to Como and had booked the Hotel Garibaldi and was very surprised to see the outside of the hotel in an rather ugly street, but after coming inside it was a Lovely Place. We had both lunch and dinner here.Lunch was Seafood Lasagna for me with lots of seafood and tasted really nice.My wife wanted a Tuna salad and it was not on the menu but no problem at all it was prepared the way she liked it and was very good. We had planned to go elsewhere for dinner but did choose to stay here as lunch was excellent and we are sure not sorry for that! We started with Parma ham and cheese and it was very good and fresh.My wife again did not want anything from the menu just boiled vegetables and again no problem and she did receive what she wanted and did finish Everything. I did order a beef tenderloin medium and had the best cut of beef I ever can remember that I had in Italy and I have been eating beef many many times in Italy absolut perfect cooked and when my beef arrived at the same time a table of 17 different seasalts and different oliveoils and other things was presented, just Amazing! We could not resist to have a desert after our wonderful meal and was shown to the front where they had an Amazing selection of deserts that all was explained in good English what it was.We did choose 2 different and if we would have had room for all of them we would have tried them all so good it was. A bottle of Red was ofcourse with our excellent dinner and I did end with a Bertha Grappa Bauriqqie. I promise to come back here this is one of the places in this World that is hard to forget.

Very nice!! The service is so good! Everybody is very friendly and if you ask something, they do it for you! The cook makes delicious food! The pastaâs are to die for! Also the view and the place is amazing! Very calm and beautiful! Now they have a pool for hotelguests, such an enrichment!
