This place is making a serious attempt to serve gourmet food, but misses the opportunity to deliver perhaps due to over complicating simple dishes. The service is amazing, the dinnerware and tables are top notch but their cooking needs simplification. However, they make great cocktails.

Nothing to complain about this beach. Well organized, two beds and an umbrella for 7 euros per day. It's the regular price on the island.The drinks and food in the restaurant or fine, do not expect Michelin star quality but to me that's logic.In general we like this beach more then banana beach.

Skartsofoli was recommended by previous visitors to the villa that we rented. It was very pleasant compared to the majority of restaurants in the area that sadly seemed to cater specifically for a some 'Brits abroad'!The waitress was really helpful and approachable with advice about the atypical Greek dishes that they had on a good menu. Really good value and excellent house wines. The 'complimentary' starters and puddings were amazing....a good lesson to how to look after customers- why don't we do that in Britain!

We stayed at the hotel and that was the same , didn't eat here as we knew the food came from the same kitchen as the hotel and that gave us sickness and the D.walk ways broken , covers missing on electrical boxes at ground level and just grubby really with the added bonus of flea bitten cats everywhere.

If you are looking for a small piece of heaven...you can find it in Porto Kaminia beach bar. Excellent food, kind and warm staff. Sunbeads and shades are free of charge. Sandy beach, as well as grass area. Also great for kids, for they offer a playground as well.Thank you very much Aleksandar!

we go to zante every year, and have said we must visit this restaurant as we have passed it loads of times, well we went there for lunch really nice view thats the only good thing i can say about it 9.50 euros for a club sandwich very basic tbh! waitress had a face as long as a mile when it came to paying the bill we found an extra 5 euros had been added! when we asked what for, we were just told i dont know! no apology at all we will never go there again! :(First of all I think you are somewhere else because we don't have club sandwich and a lady waitress in our restaurant.Its the Windmill Restaurant in Vasilikos or you have been somewhere else;

Not easy to find but well worth the effort. Quaint and electic. Good fish and an extensive menu with other classic Greek meat and vegetarian dishes to tempt you. Main courses were lovely but some of the starters were from the freezer which was a little disappointing. Didn't stop us going back a second time though.

Banana beach is a busy water sports beach with golden sand and shallow waters. At the centre lies the restaurant with views over the bay and beach. Perfect location for a snack lunch (they did offer more extensive menu) I went for the Club Sandwich, my wife the chicken pitta (Gyros) and my son had a hot dog.. washed down with cold draft beer mojitos and diet coke. Perfect snack lunch not the cheapest but good value. Lunch was only slightly tainted by a family of smokers next to us so maybe a non smoking section would be an idea these days....

We have dined in this fabulous restaurant many many times now. The food is always consistently excellent as is the service. We always receive a lovely warm welcome. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys traditional home cooked Italian food. The risotto is always cooked freshly and is well worth the wait.
