The food is very decent, especially at those prices, and I have been a few times. I particularly like their chicken curry in coconut and the fried spring rolls. Both come as huge portions.They would get a 5-star rating from me if it wasn't for the lackluster service. On one visit I waited for one hour for my meal (I was the only guest) and on the most recent visit none of the tables had been cleared and we sat among dirty plates and rubbish on the floor; not the most romantic of settings.

On a corner near the lake, nice cafe/restaurant, also outdoor seating, but a bit noisy and lots of sales people, so better to sit inside. We look for vegan resturant in Sapa... everyone told us the food in sapa very expensive but we found this amazing place with the best family!!! Everything is fresh, big menu, very very good food. The father cooks alone and he told us that workers dont want to come because there is not meat in the dishes .We like it sooo much and come time after time!We thank you for your kind attention, wish you have a happy vacation in Vietnam

Came with low expectations as this, as other restaurants in the city is a âtouristicâ place. Prices are high compared to Vietnam but this is true everywhere. There is a big choice from Vietnamese to Italian (pasta) to burgers and French.. we took 2 pasta dishes (veggie), Pho, and a chicken veit dish. All were quite good. Service is friendly and welcoming Would recommend

We are dinner here last night and really enjoyed the whole experience. The food is a little different, which we found refreshing after a week of traditional Vietnamese food. We had the pork knuckle served with beautiful Vietnamese vegetables. It was delicious with crispy crackling and succulent and tender meat. We have visited many great restaurants in Sapa but 1991 French Bistro was a step above the rest. Their service goes beyond what is expected and the staff and kind and professional. We came in from the pouring rain freezing. We order the pork hot pot and the server cooked it all for us at the table and told us all about the ingredients and let us try the broth first. It was to die for. So tasty on a cold day.
