This is high end fish at reasonable prices. La Buca has a great outdoor seating area right on the canal. We did not have a reservation but they seated us quickly. Our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. La Buca has many raw fish dishes and two of us wanted the raw shrimp but two did not. We asked if the could have the shrimp grilled and they accommodated. The plate came with three different shrimp that were absolutely the freshest and sweetest shrimp. I ordered the orata cooked with the Cervia sweet salt. It came with snow peas and roasted potatoes. The orata was fantastic. My husband ordered a homemade pasta with botarga with raw shrimp. It was so favorful. Our friends ordered the fritto misto which was a huge basket of shrimp, calemari, and little fishes which was fantastic. They also ordered the John Dory. The John Dory was just a little bland and could have had a bit more flavor. I can not wait to go back.

First class top quality restaurant and bar right on the beach behind the Grand Da Vinci Hotel. Exceptional range of fish and shell fish, good wines and great service. Its a bit expensive but the quality shines through. One of the best in Cesenatico. Child friendly as well.Dear customer, when we receive such wonderful praise, all we can do is take a bow! I ate here with my chap on a short break before our wedding and have to say the food was delicious. We live in Liguria well known for its fish and seafood but here was sonething else. Generous portions, fresh flavour, beautifully light tempura, lovely house white wine....highly recommended. The place was busy so it obviously has a good name locally too.

On various trips to San Mauro a Mare, we have eaten at this restaurant, as part of a larger family group or as a couple, in high season or off season. The performance was always the same: positive. The owner and staff are friendly and do their jobs well, the food is good to very good: Fish, meat, vegetables or simple, but very large, pizze all perfect. When we were eating here in a larger group, everyone (3 generations) was happy! In the high season, it is a good idea to reserve a table. A nice touch is that, when paying, a small piece of home baked cake for everyone is offered

Prepare to have your mind blown. I had a 9-course tasting menu with a wine flight to accompany. The food is incredibly imaginative and, of course, delicious. The service is likewise outstanding. Really one of the best, immersive, impressive, and personalized culinary experiences I have ever had. Thats where those Michelin stars come from.

I must say they serve freshly prepared & authentic Italian food for a reasonable price. We absolutely loved our dinner; we both had a strozzapreti pasta dish, my friend had big shrimps with mushrooms and I had the spinach and salmon in cream sauce. The local house wine is also very good and fairly priced. Also there are quite a lot of the local people who dine here, which means your definitely at the right place for a good authentic Italian diner!Good afternoon,I am very happy that his experience in my restaurant was so satisfying and I thank you for the beautiful words he addressed to us .Hopefully , the next time you come, you have opportunity to meet .Greetings
