The city first developed as a fishing centre (rybnik means fishpond in several Slavic languages) in the Middle Ages, then was a capital of so-called Rybnik State. Rybnik grew as an important centre of coal mining and the seat of the surrounding county in the 19th century. Under Poland's communist rule from 1945-1989 the city was projected to grow as a main mining centre of southern Poland.

This place is excellent. They serve a variety of polish dishes and pizza which you can se being made by the chef. The food is excellent, so are the staff. Sometimes you have to wait a little and most Saturdays and sundays it's fully booked which is a good sign. Try it!

Nice, comfortable decor. We visited for an early dinner with group of six. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Two members of our group wanted to split two dishes and they put them on separate plates. Reasonable prices as well. Stop in.

WpadliÅmy do restauracji StodoÅy na lunch. Od razu nasz wzrok przyciÄ gnÄ Å Åadnie urzÄ dzony ogródek z Åadnym widokiem na jezioro Rybnickie. ZamówiÅam chÅodnik litewski, a mÄ Å¼ - zapiekany ser camembert. Może chÅodnik nie do koÅca byÅ klasyczny (byÅy buraki a nie botwinka), ale byÅ dobrze doprawiony i zjadÅam zupÄ z ogromnym zadowoleniem. MÄ Å¼ też chwaliÅ swoje danie. Na deser (skusiliÅmy siÄ bo wybornie siÄ siedzaÅo w ogródku) zamówiliÅm kawÄ mrożonÄ , zabaglione i espresso. Na tym etapie obsÅuga już nie nadÄ Å¼aÅa. DostaliÅmy espresso, ale na zabaglione trzeba byÅo dÅuższÄ chwilÄ czekaÄ (wszystko byÅo bardzo dobre). Jeszcze dÅużej czekaliÅmy na rachunek, co nieco popsuÅo nasz sielski nastrój. Jedzenie byÅo smaczne, wiÄc ocena jest bardzo dobra. Gdyby jeszcze obsÅuga byÅa szybsza, zadowolenie byÅoby peÅne.

Went for dinner 2 times in 1 week.On Wednesday was very good, nice personal and the food very good.On Sunday was not good. No personal outside, so we have to go inside to order.Waitresses had the additute that they didnât like to work.Food took long, drinks came even later.Meat looked like itâs warmed up (schabowe)And the kluski was not fresh like in the week.

The restaurant is located at the country side by the lake and forest. This modern building complex (it offers some hotel rooms, bonfire shed, children playground, fishing site) is good for all kind of events starting from business/family meal and ending with weddings and other celebration events. The food is unique and very testy. All well served by smiling attendance.Thank you and welcome back.

This is the best restaurant in Rybnik. Not so cheap but service is on the very high level, dishes are delicious and locations is perfect, at the main square market. I recommend this place.

This restaurant is obviously popular in the area. They have above the main place a floor with hotel rooms. Room was very big with nice bathroom and everything necessary for one night stay. Breakfast was served to me (it was not on a block table) and it was OK.And all this which was without any high end luxurious items, but very neat and simple was costing me around 30 EURO. I cannot complain at all.

I had a lunch in InoVino.Beautiful weather. I did seat outdoor.3 course menu. Traditional Polish sour soup / Breaded ground meat with young cabbage and potato puree / Lemon meringueThe luch was quite. Only the soup was not really traditional. Service was very good.
