One of my favorite restaurants: although it seems that it has not been renovated in the past 500 years, the beer menu and garden are the best in the area! If you are looking for a huge selection and great prices in a traditional beer garden, that's the place to go.

Im Vinomnacener, Obergeschoss befindet sich das Tafelspitz. Es wurde jetzt durch leichte Vorhänge irgendwie "kuscheliger" gestaltet und bringt mehr Privatsphäre. Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend. Die Mittagsmenüs sind zwar ein bisschen teurer als anderswo, der Preis ist aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Der Service, auch vom Chef könnte herzlicher sein.

Ein Wirtshaus ohne Speisekarte. Geht denn das? Ja, das geht! Ãberraschend gut sogar. Meine Mutter begleitet mich zu diesem kulinarischen Experiment. An einem groÃen Tisch für 14 Personen nehmen wir Platz. Darüber eine artifizielle, güldene Leuchte. Ansonsten ist der Gastraum gediegen, Holz dominiert.Im Service agiert ein Trio äuÃerst freundlich und umsichtig. Das Prinzip wird erklärt: Der Gast definiert die Menge (ein bis vier Gänge um 22 bis 55 Euro) und Unverträglichkeiten bzw. lukullische Aversionen, der Wirt bereitet aus dem aktuellen Angebot seiner lokalen Lieferanten eine Ãberraschungsspeisenfolge zu.Als Vorspeisen werden uns Karottenquiche, kalte Pastinakensuppe mit Steckrüben, ein gemischter Salat und Beef Tartar mit einer kleinen Eierspeis kredenzt. Es erinnert etwas an spanische Tapas. Die Pastinakensuppe liefert überraschende Aromen und unterstreicht somit den Wert des Konzepts: man isst auch Dinge, die man nie bestellen würde.Der Hauptgang folgt in zwei Wellen: Spargel mit Brösel und Entenei, Schleie mit kleinen Kartoffeln und Caesar-Dressing. Danach Verschiendenes vom Wagyu-Rind (Faschiertes, Brust und Szegediner Gulasch), Ochsenschmorbraten auf Belugalinsen, Spätzle, Mangold, Frühlingszwiebel. Der Spargel ist das Highlight, das Faschierte extrem geschmacksintensiv. Alle Speisen sind tadellos zubereitet.Ob es das selbstgemacht Brot zum Start, der lose Zucker in der Schale oder die Milch im gläsernen Kännchen ist: Nachhaltigkeit ist als Prinzip spürbar. Wie wir finden eine ausgezeichnete Idee, die Spannung bringt, wenn man es denn aushält. Tipp!

The place is nice The food is plentiful and of good quality. very good attention. Recommended. Wiener pork schnitzel which is always a dish of good price-quantity / quality ratio in Austria. It cost 13.80 Euros. Other dishes such as trout: Forellenfillet (20.80) and Kalbsleber liver (23.70) are more expensive. The beer very good (4.10 Euros). Excellent desserts The balsamic-vanilla is really original and tasty.

Again the best experience in that area. at the gate there is the owen where they are cooking the fresh bread! amazing taste, served hot on the table. all the dishes are up to the mark and excellence quality!

A beautifully renovated old house with stunning decor especially at Christmas. Attentive friendly staff and excellent door. Had smoked salmon with lamb's Lettice plus a delicious dressing. Then sea bass with a delicate sauce and vegetables. Will go again and recommend to friends.

we have previously enjoyed very good lunches in this cafe.This time we ate the dinner :service was fine ,and was very pleasant eating outdoors.Hamburger dish and schnitzel dishes were very good,steak sandwich and fish (rather slushy!) were both poor and not value for money.

Typical Austrian, delicious food. They sometime also have themed weeks, like Spanish or Australian BBQ. Very friendly service. Great for the kids, who can either go to playground or climb along the hill to the "secret house".
