My friends and I chose this restaurant thanks to the good remarks on tripadvisor .. none of the waiters, unfortunately, can speak English but one of my friend can soeak a little bit Czech. They were so nice with and they really appreciated the huge effort of my friend. We ordered three different dishes and they were all really tasty!

This restaurant is the best!! Fine quisine with a fantastic tasting menu. The service is superb, the pairing wines are outstanding and the quality of the dishes is worth to plan a night out to this lovely cozy restaurant. We had both a tasting menu and with extra coffee and pairing drinks the overall price is way cheaper than we expected.

Our dinner here was among the most bizarre experiences we ever had in any restaurant so far. We chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews. What we learned from the experience however, was that we will from now on always consider the negative reviews about any location, too. Because that was exactly what we experienced: a waiter (owner?) who wasn't able to answer questions in a serious way, but always in an ironic or sarcastic way instead - adding "just a joke" to all of his answers - was only the beginning. After leaving us alone at our table for a while, he finally showed up to take our drinks order - after which nothing happened. Not only did he forget what we had ordered, but also THAT we had already ordered. This became obvious when we finally got the food and asked for our drinks again. We started asking ourselves whether the guy was on drugs or just had a massive personality disorder and clearly shouldn't be in such a job. Only then, we started reading the negative reviews about this place and found confirmation of what we had just experienced. We then made an effort to avoid contact with him, asking his colleague to bring the bill, who was so embarrassed that she offered our drinks for free.All in all: an extremely bizzarre experience and even though the food was ok, we recommend you to stay away from this place.

Very nice staff, Great ambiance & outdoor seating as well but if you wish to eat, go early. Everywhere closes at 10pm. We couldn't eat as the new menus were not yet printed in English

We were advised to visit a new and âone of the bestâ restaurants in KarlovyVary. But what we have experienced at the restaurant was below our expectations. Quality of the food was quite good, but level of service is much below the ambitions of the restaurant. Dear Mr jeyhun65,Thank you very much for your visit, your opinion and comments. Probably the service did not inform you about the fact that a necessary part of the unique PPP project La Hospoda are students of the local gastronomic high school, who have in a restaurant every day a practice - in the restaurant and in the kitchen too, because restaurant La Hospoda is a training center for students of this gastronomic high school. We ordered pork filled with bacon and garlic in mushroom sauce and croquettes, chicken filled with spinach and cheese and baked potatoes with garlic and cream. The food was excellent, cafe latte was also very good. Service was friendly. We sat outside as inside was full, but as the day was sunny, it was very pleasant. Would definitely come back if in the area.

O zdejsi kuchyni jsem slysel a vari zde docela dobre. Takova ceska kuchyne. Nejvetsi problem je velmi neprijemna obsluha co se tvari jak kdyby jste ji obtezovali. Je prijemna jen na stamgasty. Pivo jsem uz videl natacet take lepe.

We went there for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was quite busy but the food was prepared quickly nevertheless. All of the food was excellent and very well prepared. My roasted pork neck with two types of cabbage and mixed dumplings is a dish I have had many times in Czech restaurants. This was undoubtedly the best I have ever had. The meat was tender and moist. I think it is excellent value for the money given the quality of the food and better value than other similar level restaurants in Karlovy Vary.We were charged for the bread brought to the table. We did not ask for it and later we were charged for it. It was not expensive so the cost is not an issue but, it should have been made clear that it was going to be charged for. The waitresses were efficient and friendly but seemed a little rushed.Overall an excellent lunch and I will be going again the next time I am in Karlovy Vary.Dear Amuzzy,thank you so much for your brilliant review!It is very important for us to know that our customers are happy with the food.And thank you for your advice about bread - we will talk with our employees about that.Looking forward to see you again!
