We wake up early everyday to prepare the fresh food we serve here at «Villa Mat og Mer». You can either sit down and enjoy a hot chocolate or you can buy fresh norwegian commodities to go. From our cafe, you can chose between salads, sandwiches, focaccia

I go to this restaurant everytime my grandparents come and visit my family. Last time I went was on Sunday November 8th, to celebrate my father's birthday (although a day earlier) and Father's Day.The first thing you'll notice when entering this restaurant is that it looks like it could've been someone's home. It was. At some point in history a few decades ago, but it's been made into a restaurant. It's cozy inside, music is playing in the background (nothing fancy like a band or orchestra or even a single musician, but a CD or someone's mixtape on the restaurant's stereo).I always have the villa's steak, the Villabiffen. An absolute must-have when dining here. (or the chicken, if you have to take my sister's advice). You'll always get different vegetables with your main dish. I got aioli (not sure if that's the right way to write it) once with my steak and last time I had diced up broccoli. You never get the same dish, unless you come twice in the same week. Or month.Service is great. They bring you some sort of crackers with dip, almonds and olives once you've ordered your food. The staff is polite and patient. Don't be afraid to ask for another drink if you're done drinking your last drink.If you're in Mysen and you're looking for some good food (and you don't want kebab, pizza or takeaway), this is the place to go to.

I Gamlestua har vi tre dobbeltrom med egene bad. Et av rommene er noe storre med boblebad.

Nydelig gårdstun med kort vei til sentrum og hovedveien E18.Deilig hjemmelaget mat og iskrem .Stedet passer svært bra til bryllup og fest , men er nå også oppe på søndager mellom kl 12 og 16.Hyggelig betjening.

Went there on the way from Norway to Sweden hoping for a quick but good dinner. It was neither. With only a single server things were taking their while. We didnât even get our drinks before food arrived. Neither the Lassi nor the Chicken Korma were very impressive, barely tasting like Indian food at all. Very bland, really.
