My husband and I came here for a late lunch to celebrate my bday and we were lucky enough to have the terrace all for ourselves. Firstly, this restaurant is located in the beautiful hotel Palumbo that is worth the visit alone. The decor, art and furniture makes you feel like you are in a museum. The staff is so friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. The restaurant is so beautiful it made us feel we were in a fairy tale. The view set up the mood, the China, glasses and decor were super elegant and made everything feel more special. The food was amazing! We had a shrimp appetizer with peas purée (â¬16) my husband had the tuna with vanilla mashed potatoes (â¬22)and I had the sea food pasta (â¬16). The food was so fresh and amazing! My husbands tuna was the best we have ever had. Unlike many other reviewers stated, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given the quality of the food, service and location. A glass of their amazing 2011 red wine (produced in their private vineyard) was only â¬7 and â¬24 for a bottle. In the US, for a restaurant this level a glass of wine alone would be 16 for the cheapest wine on the wine list. We loved their wine so much we purchased a set with 3 bottles with all the wine we had at lunch (rose, white and red) for the bargain of 25 euros). I wish I had more space in my luggage to purchase much more. Lastly the service was top notch and elevated the experience. We felt well taken care of and at the same time they served us with perfect formality and finesse, we carried a very pleasant and casual conversation throughout our almost 2 hour lunch: we never wanted to leave! We couldn't be happier with our servers Raffael and Maurizzio. Thank you so much for making my bday experience unforgettable!!!

Excellent service, fresh flavours and amazing veg. bean soup. The food was so delicious that we had the servers run back and forth for the repeat orders. The deck outside is a great place to enjoy the beautiful view of the Amalfi coast night lights during dinner. The desserts are awesome. Overall a great dinner experience. We were celebrating a friends birthday so we were a noisy bunch, but the managers did not mind ..I think.

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous, and actually quite good value considering the quality of food and service. We dined here on a Tuesday evening - you must sit on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The meal was perfect, start to finish. The octopus appetizer was the best fish dish I've ever had in my life - no words can do it justice. Just try it. And everything else we had on the menu was splendid. No further details are warranted - just go! Best meal we had on our two week honeymoon in Italy!

We looked Sole Ristorante up on Trip Advisor having decided to have a good quality pizza. Ristorante Sole met our requirements perfectly - we both had very good pizzas. The only quibble is that every other restaurant in Maiori offers either a complimentary bruschetta or limoncello. There was nothing complimentary at Sole however, the service was friendly and we had a pleasant meal there.

We had dinner first in this place - good impression. Good view, good food, polite waiter. Food quite good, nothing special but very very good. Second time we had lunch here - same experience, and this is a good sign in my opinion - stability and same good result every time. A place to visit!Thanks for your message! We visited Rossellini's restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The view was amazing, but the food was quite tasteless. Excellent service though. Additionally, we wanted to share the grand tasting menu but we were charged twice for it. We could not finish the menu - we had to skip at least 3 dishes. We were expecting more of the food since we wanted to experience great food from the Amalfi coast since the area is famous for that. The view was also important, luckily we were not disappointed with it.

One of the best places on Amalfi coast and probably on Mediterranean sea for fantastic views and photo shoots. I am a Vegetarian and had the tasting menu. The presentation and quality of food was amazing. For a change no Pastas or Pizza on the Menu in an Italian restaurant. The entire hospitality team is very friendly.Also if you are eating at the restaurant no entry fee to visit the Gardens. Whilst an amazing review, watch out fore the "bait and switch". They ask if you would like to chose 3 starters to share and then they bombard you with 7 starters that we couldn't eat but obviously were charged for. Main courses were then surplus to requirements....which wasn't a real problem as the seabass was over cooked and tasteless. Stopped in during our week-long stay in Minori after reading all the great reviews.The restaurant itself is beautiful. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating. Service was generally inattentive (even by Italian waiter standards). Food was good, but not any better than other local restaurants and pricier.
