Visited restaurant whilst staying overnight in hotel.3 course menu is very reasonably priced. Staff are very attentive and clearly very familiar with menu and where the food is sourced from.Had a crab starter, beef main and cheese and biscuits for dessert. All lovely tasting and well presented.Beautiful setting that feels quite intimate.Wine and champagne fairly expensive given the reasonable rate of food and accommodation but not outrageous.All in all a very nice experience.

Consistently good, menus are always changing, sourcing products as from a 25 mile radius if possible, great service, good offerings at the bar (cocktails and other things), good wine list, delicious food. Unbeatable in the area!

I have been wanting to come here for some food since the kitchen opened.Anthony and his partner have done an outstanding job in renovating what was a disused, worn and tired pub.The lamb has a good selection of drinks, helpful staff, comfortable surroundings and oh my goodness... THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE, I canât praise this place enough.Really hope this place does well and succeeds, as this is a hidden gem in the local area!Will definitely be returning again sometime soon.

Came on a recommendation. Fantastic service. Started with the scallops, amazing. Followed with steamed cod and the Seabass, both totally perfect. Delicate sauces in the side. The unusual ratatouille was so good we asked how they did it. This is a restaurant for foodies. Servings not huge so have a side or two. Great value. We will be back. We visited this restaurant as a party of 7. Well,where to begin. Absolutely fantastic. Lovely cold and hot buffet. Eat as much as you like,and we did!Then came the meats. You name it,they had it. Pork,chicken,beef.lamb.sausages. it was never ending. They use the system of cards. Red side means you're done with the meat for either a break or you're full up. Green side means bring out more. And they did!Service was excellent and very friendly. We finished off with gorgeous skewered pineapple. We will be back for sure.

Visited today for Sunday lunch and to mark our wedding anniversary. Had already had an exceptional visit last year and we were pleased to find nothing has changed. Excellent, well presented food and friendly, efficient service in a pleasant environment overlooking the golf course. Very good value too. Worthy of 5 stars and comparable to some top rated London restaurants, if not better. We look forward to returning again as soon as we can.

There appears to be no water plumbed into the gentlemen's urinals! The toilets SMELL they regularly look and smell unclean and lack daily inspection the pee mats ìn each urinal do not appear sufficient. Shame really as they seem to have most things going okay

Called in for lunch 8 people . Only 2 other people in the restaurant at the time.Excellent menu covering all the Italian specialities plus some other mediterranean options. Food was spot on and everyone enjoyed their food . Definitely recommend this resturant.

My friends took me here for a 60 th celebration. We had a smashing evening. I chose the steak with seasonal vegetables. The steak was beautifully cooked and delicious and the veg were varied and tasted great too.All my friends loved their food too.We were made to feel very welcome, it was quite busy there given that it was a Tuesday evening.
